A few snaps from a very chilly (-6C at time of signing on!) Donington trackday last week. I washed the car the day before but you wouldn't know it from how it looked by the end of the day!

Only -4 degrees in Derbyshire this morning! Semi slick tyres, no windscreen, no roof, no heater, no ABS, no traction control and definitely no sense 😂 All the little kids I passed on the way giving "Mad Santa" a wave seemed to enjoy it though 🎅

Hi All, I very recently joined the Club following the purchase of Westfield and was disappointed to discover there was no AO in my part of the country. As I was the Regional Representative for the UK Corvette Club for a few years I thought I would stick my head above the parapet and offer my services, now with my Westfield hat on. I have of course been in touch with Julie and she is happy for me to try and resurrect the Norfolk & Suffolk area. We both feel this is best delayed until next Spring but thought it would be a good idea to put this teaser post on the site in the hope that some interest can be raised for future activities. I realise there aren't a huge number of members in the area and, looking at the map, we are spread somewhat far and wide. Anyway, if you are interested in supporting me please post your name and location in order to help me find a possible meeting place to suit the majority. Best regards, Barry

I decided to swop out my 1980s rs/capri wheels for minilite style over the winter. Looked at different options and ended up going for Compromotive ML r13 6J et18 wheels. Really pleased with what they sent me and found Compromotive as a business superb to deal with.

Was chilly at Donny last Sunday (11th) too! nice to have a heater though! 😁 (edit: ooops! Just noticed the thread title - sorry it’s not my Westfield 🫢)

Aye, at this time of year more than ever it's key to watch out for each other. Please also remember that people who are subconsciously detaching and withdrawing can be (without knowing it) good at hiding the signs; it's not necessarily as simple as just not going out or answering messages. It's why regular contact with friends, especially the vulnerable ones is key, it's helps to spot the out of character changes. And lets not forget the "strong" ones in our social groups; the ones always there for everyone, that listen and let everyone else share their troubles with. Just got they're great "listeners" and there for us, doesn't mean they don't need the same too!

Ooops lost it under braking at the chicane so end of play 🥲 Just before lunch too. Just cosmetics and Part of the game to be fair , still she was going really well with the remap . A great bunch of folk too, I’ll be back
