Well it is almost a year since the last post on here so hopefully people are getting on well with their lives. With all the bad news from around the world, with war at the forefront, the cost of living going mad as a result some will be struggling mentally. As those who have read and contributed to this thread, I have had issues in the past but I am fine, others are not so lucky and will be feeling it. So if you know anyone who is a sufferer pick up the phone and see how they are doing. People never ask for help if they are in a hole but will be glad of contact and a chance to chat will lift them. Keep well5 points

Aye, at this time of year more than ever it's key to watch out for each other. Please also remember that people who are subconsciously detaching and withdrawing can be (without knowing it) good at hiding the signs; it's not necessarily as simple as just not going out or answering messages. It's why regular contact with friends, especially the vulnerable ones is key, it's helps to spot the out of character changes. And lets not forget the "strong" ones in our social groups; the ones always there for everyone, that listen and let everyone else share their troubles with. Just got they're great "listeners" and there for us, doesn't mean they don't need the same too!2 points

Hi Guys The time has come for me to sell my Westfield Mega S2000, which is unfortunate given I have just spent over 6k on the car recently preparing it for a full season of motorsport in 2023 however a change of circumstances means I now need to free up the cash and will hopefully get back to it in a year or two`s time So... where do i start! Basic stats: -2016 Car, Factory Built with paperwork, 1 previous owner to me who was a family friend -1306 miles on the car since built, essentialy there is no wear on any of the components whatsoever -F20 S2000 engine and box (82k Miles) with brand new stage 2 lightened clutch and flywheel -15" wheels wrapped in brand new Advan AO52 Semi Slick Road Legal Tyres (good in all weather!) -Protech shocks all round and sport brakes -Sierra plate LSD (unsure of ratio but gears are nice and close) -Full MSA approved Cage -Carbon Aero Screen (standard heated screen & wipers will also be included in sale) -Formula Cage mounted mirrors (standard mirrors for screen are also included) -ECUMaster PMU controlling lights and all ancillaries via ECUMaster Programmable CAN Keyboard -SIMTek Open Protocol ECU with custom rolling road tune via AG Motorsport (proper motorsport company, a conservatively tuned and very smooth 229BHP at the fly) -ECUMaster LCD Dash C/W full GPS Data Logging allowing lap times, G Force and all car parameters to be reviewed live and after the event -Full AG Motorsport Wiring Loom custom made for the car to support everything (work of art) -Standard front & rear lights (LED Headlights are there to be fitted but will sell with car) -MOMO Detachable Race Steering Wheel from Westfield There may be some other elements that i have missed that may or may not be apparent but please feel free to request any further information on the car and i will be happy to provide, it has also just had a fresh MOT with 0 advisories All in all the car looks, sounds and drives fantastic, as it should for a car of this mileage and quality I know i will never get my money back out of the car but i feel what i am asking is a very reasonable price given i paid 24k for the car from David at HJD Cars and used it very little indeed since purchase and of course have spent over 6k with receipts on the various modifications and improvements to the car, all in the car is due me around Β£31000 My asking price is Β£26000 and i would be willing to deliver to the buyer within those costs down to about Carlisle area at most (as i am up here in Perth!) or up North pretty much anywhere that doesnt involve a ferry crossing! Thank you for taking the time to have a look and i do hope that it can find a new home and be put to the use that i had intended for it... Much appreciated, Ian1 point

Not quite what Iβd planned, but managed to throw a quick bit of tinsel on the car! Unfortunately it looks like what I thought was @just@ a flat battery pack on the Christmas lights is actually a broken wire or worse, too. So had to leave them off.1 point

In my opinion it is never your fault, we are all differrent and some soak up happily what will fell a horse never mind a person. What I was advised is to look at things differently, ask your self what will happen if you do not finish the loft? They wait a bit longer so why put yourself under pressure when in the scheme of things does it matter enough to make you ill. It is the ability to see when you are asking too much of yourself and then change that is key to getting control back. I hate to say it but I have a family member who I would say just never gives a F...., he breezes through life and is happy does well enough but will never push himself. If asked why he simply says why should I? When I can see I am getting frustrated and sad with it I just step back and think what does it matter and it seems to work for me to re balance, but it is never your fault if you feel the way you do just learn to stop pressurising your self too much1 point

Well this is odd, I almosted needed to log on and there be an update on this thread today, so thanks. I have been under a load of pressure at work and at home with various large life evnts happing this year through illness in the imidiate family to building extra space in the lost for my kids from my first marraige. I remember this thread being last updated on boxing day last year and i thought today would be a good day to check in and update it to see how people are doing so is odd that it had already been added to. I know Mental health issues come in various shapes and sizes but an open question, If we ask to much of ourselves and say yes to too much stuff in life and then start suffring, is it our own fault? (asking for a friend π)1 point

So true @jeff oakley, spoke to a mate the other day and was focused on his troubles (divorce and how to keep relationship with teenage kids), when he asked me how my life was going I was stumped for a moment as it's been crazy busy (not in a bad way) and hadn't been in touch with many so had to think hard if all WAS ok? End result, we talked each other through this that and then other and both promised to reach out to others that had gone quiet.1 point

This thread is so good to keep reading, all you guys who post here hats off to you Its interesting to read folks personal dilemas and then those issues brought on by events/family around them, I lost my Dad last year (Covid on his death cert!) after being his primary carer for about 3 years before he was put into care via the NHS adult social care channel, my Dad Philip had dementia, a stoke diagnosed by me due to his loss of speech (too stubborn to go to his Doctor) as well as lots of other health issues. I was his last family member to speak to him before he passed away as he was isolated due to covid, then it was like full speed ahead register his death/sort bills/Solicitors/funeral directors/long lost family/ex partners/ bang bang bang... then after the cremation I was just left with my Dads ashes in a box and my emotions I've put in another box in my head to process at a later date because I just don't know what to do with them. My life carries on don't get me wrong but then something can trigger a memory and '''boom'' ... mini meltdown .. compose yourself then back to norm ... So I will end how I began.. This thread is so good to keep reading, all you guys who post here hats off to you1 point
