Got home from work yesterday and had a parcel turn up from the postman! Lo and behold it’s my new storm cover that I ordered in June from Soft Bits for Sevens. Will trial fit tomorrow and post some pictures, let’s hope it was worth the wait 🤞🏼

I’m doing the same thing with a Westfield although it wasn’t mine and it went through an auction and other owner before becoming mine. I filled out the V62 and got my V5 with the following statement on as soon as I picked up the remains. As far as I know once it’s rebuilt (this one is extensive), it’s just a case of get a mot, tax and insurance then hit the road again. No extra inspections required.

Its generally OK to use but some scrutineers ask if you run a camera so they can check that its mounted sufficiently. Some events also ask you to declare if you intend to use one on the entry forms. Aside from MIRA (which no longer runs sprints), I think the only other venue that doesn't allow it is Hethel as its Lotus's test track at their factory1 point
