  1. My dad’s Westfield V8 beast with a TVR Tuscan race engine in 2009 and my 2.0 Zetec in 2021 outside my Aunts house. It such a shame I did not get to take my Dad for a blast in my Westfield.

  2. I've been buying custom number plates for >20 yrs (usually legal font / style etc) but with minimal border (11mm all round the characters) usually due to owning registrations with lower than 7 characters etc. like the 305 x 110 mm plate shown below. I've just had plates made for my daughter's first car and can thoroughly recommend- https://www.fullhousecustoms.com/ not cheap and it's taken a week(I ordered at 5pm last Fri and they quoted shipment Mon/Tue- but was Thu, due to illness), but the quality is the best I've seen! We've bought fully legal plates with 3D vinyl letters and the BS kite mark and the plate makers name is in very small font on the plates(as shown below). Good communications via whatapp No comments from @Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator on my special Westie front plate please 😉 These won't be drilled and screwed, but fixed using 3M VHB tape. Here's the actual plates 3M reflective too

  3. Nigel did say it was too late for them to have an official presence at the show, (I guess the stand details are old details from pre-admin? Perhaps). But I believe he is, or has been there, not sure if they’ve got anyone else there or not, though. Will go down tomorrow, anyway, and have a look at the show.

  4. Your description of the green stripe didn't quite do it justice. 😉 How did you get rid of it? Looks like a different car now. 👍

  5. Sorry to hear that Bill. Yes, new venue is really nice, it’s slightly different to your regular Indian restaurants.

  7. @Mole I've got my eye on Saturday for a little potter around the local area whilst I build up my confidence in the car and gain some familiarity with it. 'tis truly an eye opener after the usual tin tops!

  8. Woohoo! Just in time for the winter! V5c turned up today! Plates made and fitted and the first 6 miles under my belt. Small steps... 🤣

  9. Nigel has been in touch with me this morning, we’ll have a statement pending, before they officially speak to the press. Keep an eye out on the updates thread

  10. Fret not, I'm sure the Nigerian AO will ensure all the local members contact you to ensure your bank account details are safe and secure and any attempts to empty it via bogus T-shirt sales will be fully monitored, similarly all Russian and N. Korean Area Organisers are waiting and ready to assist 🤣

  11. Looks like I'm down at the Classic Car show at the NEC tomorrow, so I won't be out on Sunday - the Westfield still has no cam cover on anyway, as I've had no time to get it sorted out.
