After speaking to Simon Wasterfall I have taken his advice and fitted some cheaper shocks/springs. Its a simple solution and will save more weight and apart from setting the ride height it does not need any adjustment or changes for different tracks or conditions. Might not even need the ARB. Saved me a fortune! That's what mates are for and this was free advice as well You are a star Simon and it will be good to see you out next year7 points

What is all this talk of heaters and windscreen washer bottles!? 🤷♂️ I just drive faster, the adrenaline keeps you warm and the increased airflow keeps the visor clear.... You've all gone soft 😂2 points

A bit chilly and misty this morning when I left home.... After a lovely traffic free drive down to Curborough, I landed about 930 to find my mate James in his MEV Sonic7 had just landed. Its a lovely motor that James built himself, with a 2.0 Zetec and MTX75 gearbox... shorter and wider than a Westfield, it's an unusual but very quick little car. I quite enjoy watching the Autosolo's, it's grass roots motorsport at its finest. The odd classic Mk1 Escort, Mini or Nova (I'm getting old calling my first car a "classic"! 🤦♂️) mixing with more modern cars of all types. Those that know Curborough will attest to it having its own microclimate! The fleeting glimpse of blue sky didn't keep the temperature much above 5 degrees, so despite us both being well wrapped up a hot brew and bacon sandwich didn't warm us up much! A fun couple of hours to scratch the car itch on a cold November morning!2 points

Everything for the right application ! - track westfield no windscreen, washer,heater... no passanger road one - all that, so 1,5 kg makes not much difference . And its hard to keep proper levels of adrenaline and happy passanger in the same time and if this passanger is my Wife well ... lets say just ordered washer fluid bag and found some heaters, just not sure what output power is ok for Westfield ? Found this one that You @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman have showed on pictures above - Sirocco Minox II 400 , they say it has 5kW output, also found little smaller but 3kW, not sure if this will be enough. I have no cockpit cover / hood (read that with MSA rollbar is only partial hood possible to install, will think about it in future, anyway Heater is intended mostly to heat foots, mayyybe in future demist if I will be brave enough to drive in wet . Thought maybe will manage to install it before salt on the roads this year so need to choose power and order quick!1 point

Just check weights and see how much it is, save the money and go buy some thermals instead.1 point

A video of from the 'What Next?' channel on YouTube following Richard Hammond to his favourite place in the world, Buttermere. Whilst telling some stories of times he spent in this wonderful looking village, he mentions a time he came through the village with a couple of mates, Richard and Al on bikes, and a third friend, Chris, in a Westfield! I highly recommend giving the video a watch. It's made me want to get out, travel around and try to discover some of the hidden gems in the British Isles. This is Richard Hammond's Favourite Place in the World1 point
