  1. About 4 degrees above freezing and pitch black.... the perfect environment for a car with no heater, no windscreen, semi slick tyres and dominator (one candle power) headlights πŸ˜‚ Fortunately, fear keeps you warm!

  4. Amazingly it was a dry evening so I ventured out in the Westfield..... all the sane people came in "normal" cars as it was freezing! πŸ˜‚ Fantastic turnout as usual despite the cold, with loads of chat and laughter. A big thanks to everyone for coming along πŸ‘ The next meet is the Area Christmas meal on Saturday 3rd December. If you fancy coming along and haven't booked yet, please do so on our WSCC Derby & Notts Facebook page.

  10. Many thanks for your responses. Interestingly, when I owned a C6 Corvette a few years ago the tax was not much over Β£200.

  11. Hello All, It's that time of the month again, the monthly Black Country meet is due to be held this Sunday. It's past Westfield weather so I expect it to be tin tops all around. Also Christmas is approaching and I'll need to get something booked for the next meet on the 4th December. I really need to have an idea if the day is generally convenient and of numbers so I can get something booked. Check your calendars and let me know and I'll get something proposed and distributed so I can confirm numbers and make a reservation. Hope to see a few of there for a chin wag and virtual tyre kick. Thanks Rhett 7pm, 6th November at the Dudley Arms, Himley. DY3 4LB.

  13. Its a great car and well built on the whole. I ended up getting it from Toybox in Feb 2020.... it had only done 800 miles at that point, I've done another 10,000 since then despite the lockdowns so she's being enjoyed!
