It's fall here in Montana which means it can be 65° and sunny (like when I took these photos a few days ago) or it can be 30° and snowing like it is today. We've gotten a foot (30 cm) so far and it's still coming down. That makes the memory of taking these sunset photos a few days ago all the more special. The snow will melt in a few days and it will be time for a cool weather blat before real winter arrives. dave

This weekend was the first in months I haven't been out in the Westfield! Having to get my Westfield fix in other ways, I was having a trawl of the forum and realised it is almost exactly 3 years since I did my first ever WSCC meeting, in the Peaks on 27th October 2019... how time flies... I'd joined the Club at the end of August 2019 and was bored one Sunday morning so just turned up at Matlock on a whim and loved it! Back then I had my first Westfield (a yellow and carbon Zetec car, Q166VOJ). Get some of your throwback photos up for us to enjoy 😉

Well this is what I built !!!! then I thought about building another one 🤔 but !!!!!!! we went for a colour change😜 and an engine change and a gearbox change and lots of other changes, so all in all I built another car 🤣

Afraid it’s only 2 years 13 days ago at the IVA test centre Hull ! Still got the stickers on the tyres😁 Then realised driving round on my own wasn’t as much fun, so joined the WSCC and met up in the Peaks!

Morning All. Yes hoovering up! The Westfield name has many options on social media. Many successfully run and popular. Unfortunately with so many it also become less apparent those who are directly affiliated with the manufacture and those with links to the club. It would be great if we could align all the different entities, but sadly we are a little late to the party. the Facebook WSCC has been created to align our instagram. Previously all posts were being sent my personal Facebook page. Mixed messaging again! We will be reviewing access to these Club tools very shortly as others have expressed an ability to direct and post. If you are interested in growing the WSCC social media then please drop me a email.

I dug out some pictures of mine when I had it first time around. When I say pictures, I mean actual printed pictures, these will be from 1994 or thereabouts. A very young, and much slimmer me in one of them. It looks very different now, but I must say I do like it still in its original condition, swept wings and all. Amazingly, all but the last two were taken in the same place as my recent pictures, 28 years later.

When I looked at the info page, it has the same birthday as a certain @HB46443 so I'm assuming it's Hedley (aka the WSCC Social Media Guru) Now we suspect its Hedley, it might adversely impact the numbers accepting the friend request! 😂

My Dads first pic of his Westfield with the bear carvings that paid for it... Must have been around 2006/7.

For me it started in November 2013 with H178LJA bought from a member here ( @Barnster ). She was a 2L Zetec in postoffice red I broke down driving it on the 1st time to work and after 3 months I sold it again . It just wasn't for me... until 2 months later I bought MRX603P on Ebay from a guy up in Newport. It came with a weedy 1.6L Crossflow which I replaced during my ownership with a 1.8L Zetec. By the end of my 6 year ownership it looked the way I wanted and the only reason I sold it was to get into my current SEiGHT...

Morning all, Not sure if this is the correct place or even the right thing to do but has anyone heard from @Richard (OldStager)? I only ask as I sent a PM to see how he was the week before last and I've had no reply and it seems he hasnt been online since end of September. I'm not wishing to delve into his personal life but I do know he had a lot going on and this is just a friendly message reaching out to see if anyone knows how he is. I'm heading on holiday later and will be abroad so I won't be online much from later today so if my responses are few and far between this is why. Hopefully a member near/or has had recent contact to him can say he is fine. Like I say, I'm not prying into anyone's personal life just checking all is okay. Glen

A trip over Hardknott and Rhinos pass in what was my daily drive 30 years ago!

I bought mine on 29th September 2018 as a finished hill climb car. Trailered it home and 4 years later successfully tested & registered my flying carrot!

2017 - 1st day of ownership, Belfast ferry terminal, complete with underslung exhaust and inset rear wheels. The year before I made the tough decision to sell my classic car I still had tucked away back in NZ, that I vowed never to sell, but it looked it I wasn't returning home any time soon - so, I needed something special to cherish over here, and a 7-esque had always been a wish-list car. After about a year searching for the right car at the right price, I found our one on Autotrader, just north of the border with Ireland. That was on the Thursday, we booked one-way Ryanair flights to Derry on the Friday, flew over on the Sat, and got a rental car with a non-return drop-off at Belfast airport - we were either flying back, or ferry. Previous owner was a police/forces driving instructor, and in 18 years/three owners, the car only had 13k on the clock.

There are many politicians on both sides and I include all other parties who are respectable and honorable people, unfortunately since Blair we have had who is photogenic (okay May blows that) people who can perform on TV and that is why we have the ones we do. I would love to see Boris return just to see the left go apoplectic and the media lost, however he is the last person we need. There are many in parliament who want the same thing, good economy people looked after who cannot look after themselves, the NHS working, able to see a GP, the difference is how we achieve those aims. The Tories are always seen as for the rich, Labour beholden to the Unions and controlled by momentum but that is not true for all in those parties. It always makes me laugh when the union barons bang on about vast dividends to shareholders when their members pensions are invested in the very companies they object to. We do not need a GE now; we need a competent person to assemble a team and work the problems through without interference from the Civil Service who want their own way regardless. When things go bad quickly they can turn around as quick if there is a will to do it. Truss was the wrong choice but she had no chance as she was not the choice the MP's wanted and she paid the price. We need to stop being the laughing stock as the markets make our situation worse if they do not agree, sadly

Over the years I've started to collect power tools (Ryobi) and was always struggling to store them. Then I spotted But at nearly £100 a little over the top. Then discovered a whole world of DIY solutions But that's effort, meh So onto Amazon and noticed these under cupboard glass holders And with a little imagination (and bending the metal guides) ended up with All for £11 👍

Anyone noticed -- All the bin colours are Westfield factory colour options.
