  2. Fewer people out tonight due to work or illness (get well soon!) but still a fun meet up. @Steve Bosworthand I braved the darkness in the Westfields.... my comedy light output compared to Steve's searchlights reminded me I need to fit my new LED Dominators 😂 We were met by @Howard and his wife Emma, @Alex Gaskin, @Delboy, @HB46443, @Garry Bunn and @Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO. I always love the stories of the speed series and track action we get at these meets, makes the 2 or 3 hours just fly by! Thanks for coming along everyone 👍 A pair of nocturnal Westies in the wild See you all at the next one 👍

  12. Hedley, Dale and I at the Atherstone Heritage Car Show yesterday. @HB46443 and I then went topless to pull in the crowds.... as you can tell from the photos, they were flocking round 😂

  15. Last Saturday I got my hands on a R360s for a days hire with my eldest son. The car came from Williams Automotive in Chipping Sodbury near Bristol. Have to say the roads were fabulous in South Gloucestershire, surprisingly quiet from around 9.30am and not that busy though the day. Our first visit was at Kemble Airfield and an excellent breakfast at the AV8 cafe, recommended but don't go Sunday as closed! After another blast and help with the Sat Nav we turned up at the Classic Car Hub in Bibury near Cirencester. Now that is another good place to see the old cars, some for sale with a few motorcycles in the big sheds. Busy day but we got the Caterham wedged between the very common Porsches!!! Here we did coffee/tea and cake at the cafe there, again recommended but not open Sunday which is a shame. It tried to rain, so we got going south again making our way to try out the car. My son was on the insurance, so he got to try the car...neither of us had driven a kitcar...still waiting for mine!! We had to get going though as you need to get the car back on time (3pm) filled up and not over 120 miles as it costs 50p + vat! We did 80miles with the two breaks and the total fuel bill was just over £21. Overall a good day for both...so if you are looking for something to do or waiting for your Westfield to arrive, then go for it!

  17. Fabulous, you have certainly got the hang of having a great day out, now just imagine how great it will be in your own car....perhaps even with some other cars.......you have it all to look forward to. Thank you for posting your day out on here for us to enjoy too x

  18. The inevitable has now happened and Glen has tested positive for coronavirus, so I am very sorry but I am postponing this event until next Sunday, hopefully we will get a better weather forecast then too. He feels a little achy but is ok, I think the man flu syndrome may hit if he thinks that he will get away with it 😃.....which of course he will. I am still showing positive despite now being symptom free. Have fun everyone, Saturday looks to be a better day to get your cars out, so EAT CAKE AND CARRY ON without us XXXXX❤️

  19. As an eternal optimist I am not cancelling this event but, this afternoon I have tested positive for Coronavirus, I will keep you updated and if I test negative by the weekend then it is ON. I came back from a cycle ride yesterday and did not feel my usual self, I had a tickle at the back of my throat, overnight I have had a sinus pain/headache/bone ache. I took 2 paracetemols this morning and felt ok, ok enough to get back on my cycle today, this afternoon I was still not 100% PLUS I am supposed to take my mum to hospital for an operation at 7.30 am tomorrow, so I tested just to make sure, good job I did! Glen is testing negative at the moment.
