The time has come to sell Westfield, I’ve owned the car for over 10 years, with plenty of blood (usually knuckes, occasionally fingers), sweat, tears (usually my wife, although the Westfield is a longer relationship) and cash being put into the car over the years. The car started in cake spec, then as I started to get the track day bug, it developed into a seriously fast piece of kit. Which brings me to why I’m selling - I’ve discovered the joys of circuit racing and with limited time, space and a young baby something has to give. I’d really like it to go to someone who’s going to send it…and send it hard. Registered 2001 for those looking to export to Europe / elsewhere. I’ve only done 4 or 5 track days since the engine was built. Here’s the spec of this beast Bodywork Chrome yellow ZK bodywork Flared side panels V8 bonnet The bodywork is all designed to come off easily for access - the entire back end it removable for access to diff, fuel tank etc etc Rear tub is new Front cycle wings are new Scuttle is quick release Electrics Fully rewired in motorsport spec by Spark Developments New DTA S40 pro ECU to run the beast of an engine… New (ie this week) jack webb MSUK approved lithium ion battery Engine Professionally built by AP Racing Engines Oversized to 2.1 Forged Pistons Forged Rods Uprated bearings and rod bolts Uprated valve springs Cam designed to AP spec - it’s a race cam, not a cake cam 48mm Jenveys throttle bodies (It sounds ace) Raceline dry sump - you will have no worries about track day oil pressures with this car. Laminova water to oil oil cooler, I prefer these, they are expensive but bring the oil up to temp much quicker and hold it there. Big Alloy radiator from cooled to keep it all cool I rev it to 8000. It’s does 240bhp and will do more if you want to rev it higher, it should do 8500+ . Stripped, checked and given a clean bill of health by Ash Mason after 5 trackdays and not driven in anger since. The exhaust! How could I forget that work of art. Bespoke CSK race exhaust, full stainless system, bonnet exit and the largest can I could fit. Its a work of art and cost over £2k. Drivetrain Heavy duty type 9 built by first motion in Hatfield, with appropriate trackday ratios. I don’t use 5th tbh, 4th goes to just over 120 and as you see in the videos it pulls hard in every gear. Ratios: 2.83 1.81 1.26 1.0 0.82 Diff is a 3J NXG plated LSD with appropriate ramp angle and preload for a light car - it’s 535kg by the way. This was installed with the new engine, by PlaysKool motorsport. I much prefer this diff over an ATB, it’s progressive, predictable and still works if a rear wheel is in the air. Suspension set up by Clear Motorsport Brakes are CAT Racing 4 pots with brand new hawk pads that I haven’t even bedded in yet. Rears are the usual Sierra, with Ferodo DS Uno pads. Uprated larger and rare AP Racing brake master cylinder “Interior” GRP seats Carbon fibre tunnel Carbon fibre bulkhead Momo 270mm steering wheel (lovely) Quick release column Carbon fibre dash GRP Aeroscreen Full “Caged” roll cage, installed at their factory in Frome Wheels and tyres 13 inch CXRs, 185 front, 205 rear, R888R all round spare set of 13 inch mini lite reps with race wets for when it’s wet…obviously Anything else I’ve missed New fuel tank, new fuel pump, new fuel lines, I’m sure there is more I’ve forgotten which I’ll add as it comes to me. Summary This isn’t really a car for the cake tourers. Sure it will do that (and has) but Ive found it way too fast for the peaks. It’s an absolute weapon on a track and I’m sure it would be successful in the speed series if that was your bag. The money had been spent on the bits that matter - with pretty much one aim in mind… FUN. It’s fully road legal, although I removed the lights for track use - they are back on now, and I’ll be MOTing it shortly. Ill add pics and as soon as I can, but in the meantime here she is doing what she does best….staying in front of the track day gang. Oh yeah the price… to WSCC it’s £14,750. It’ll be up for more elsewhere but I’d like an easy sale tbh! BJ single axle trailer which is perfect Westfield size will also be available. @Simon Waterfall Syman84 Have I missed anything? 😄4 points

Job done - He's survived been 'Cat and fiddled' too! In car footage to follow: The police having a fiddle, on the 'Cat 'n' fiddle'- It was great to meet you Alex and I wish you a safe trip home to Italy to get your 1.8T Audi conversion finished. You've chosen a great day to visit the peaks, it was nice and sunny, though a little chilly with the wind!4 points

OK, so as per my OP, I want to stick down that weather strip. After much Googling and Youtube-ing, and heeding the excellent advice here I settled on some Evostik PVA. Of course, I wanted to test it. So I also purchased some black solvent free polymer adhesive and stuck down one of my old trainers... I mixed the PVA in a strong 4/1 mix of water/PVA, brushed a section of floor to clear dust and debris, spread the PVA solution and allowed it to dry. It darkened the floor quite significantly which I don't care about, but be warned. Then I took my trainer and coated the ball of it liberally with adhesive and placed it on the gnarliest roughest bit of floor I could find. I weighed it down and left it to dry for two days. All I can say is that I now need to invent a use for the trainer that seems to be permanently attached to my garage floor... The weather strip goes in tomorrow 😄 😄 😄4 points

Thank you very much Ian, still can't believe that happened, enjoyed every minute 😊 Nice weather, awesome soundtrack (the F20 on throttle bodies is unreal), can't really ask for more 😊 Thank you very much again, has been a pleasure 👍🏻2 points

Change of plan for the Sunday breakfast meeting. We'll meet at the Redbeck cafe on Doncaster Road, Crofton, Wakefield, WF4 1RR, At 9:30, then go over to a show at Ackworth. It's the first time they've done one here and we can come and go as we please. Anyone up for this?2 points

2015 Honda S2000 for sale Factory built in 2015. I'm the second owner and owned it for the past 7ish years Upgrades are: Willwood front calipers with 285 vented discs. Rears calipers changed to Golf. Protech Shocks all round. Front and back antiroll bars (Soft Bars, not the ones that knock your teeth out) Wide track Gen 3. 205 x 15 Toyo tyres, 2 new ones just fitted. LSD 3.92 Omex ECU, unlocked and upgraded by Omex. Quick release steering wheel with Mono steering wheel. Heater temperature control, so you can turn the water off flowing through the heater. Half hood. Private reg W7YOB to be removed or sale agreed Standard Stuff: S2000 engine and gearbox. Heater. Heated windscreen. Digi dash. Side screens, I should have some doors somewhere in the garage. V8 Bonnet. Sports seats. New battery. Needs MOT-ing. Cat pipe, I have the none cat pipe but it needs welding up. 199bhp at the rear wheels. This is not a show car, its used and could do with some fettling. Engine has slight tick, front wishbones need painting, Have replacement head lights, just need fitting. Don't have many pics, will get some and add later More info added The car was originally purchased in kit form, the owner had a change of heart and sent it all back to Westfield factory where it was built so a factory built car. The engine was supplied by the owner and is a 2005 which had 56k on it. I know this as traced the supplier back to where he bought it from and they verified it. The car has been faultless for the 7ish years I have owned if for but for a failure of the Omex ECU which is a known fault with Omex 630 ecu. You could search the WSCC for info on this. The ECU was sent back to Omex and the fault fixed and unlocked for remapping which I had done and now has 199bhp at the wheels. The mapping was done by Wayne Schofield who was the world tuner for Porsch racing. He did a great map and totally transformed the car from the Westfield standards map that they installed. I know this as said the ECU was locked but not now. Anyway the ticking noise started and to date I have not been able to find where it's coming from. The car drives fine and I have done a compression test and all is fine so I think it's valve related. It only ticks when the engine is warmed up. The car is currently sorned and the MOT has run out but I can do that for you should you want it done. I can only suggest if your interested come and look at the car with no obligation and have a see for yourself. This is a lot of car for not a lot of money. If it doesn't sell will get it to showroom condition and ask a lot more for it. No tyre kickers and any test driver needs fully comp insurance. VIDEO's I have taken some vides and these are in my own Google photo area, you can access them with this link. https://photos.app.goo.gl/gtbzTeCZoSohbfbo9 hopefully the link works but let me know if you can't access them.1 point

I think Scott's developed a rather unhealthy obsession with he lady! Next thing we know, he's going to be discovered on a roof top opposite no 10 with a pair of high powered binoculars and a camera. I can see it now as SCO19 haul him off, while protests of "but, I just wanted to see what bin she matched" fall on balaclava clad, deaf ears...1 point

Coffee meet never happened, but today drove back to Blackpool to deliver the new shopping car , which allowed me to see the WSCC "stick it" sticker. This will be applied to the Westy and photographed next week, when I am back on the Wirral for a few more weeks.1 point
