Just seen the following; JUST RECEIVED THIS PRESS RELEASE! Westfield Sports Cars and Chesil Speedster marques and assets acquired by Westfield Chesil Ltd. Following the administration of Westfield Sports Cars Ltd and Chesil Speedsters in June this year, the marques, Intellectual Property and other assets have been bought by Westfield Chesil Ltd. Nigel Trilk, Chairman, confirms “We are pleased to have been able to secure all the assets including the trade names, know-how and stock from the administrator. Over the coming weeks we will be working with suppliers, customers, dealers and Westfield and Chesil owners’ groups to understand the best way to revitalise the famous brands. We will be recruiting experienced and loyal Westfield employees to make sure we have the earliest possible return to production, sales and customer support. Westfield Chesil Ltd will continue to explore development of the iconic sports cars and further updates will be released in due course. (TKC magazine)

Daft as a brush decided to go meet a couple of lads for a chippy at Aviemore, then we had a blast up Cairngorm for sunset pictures and then home along the nethy bridge road and speyside home. Left in glorious sunshine and home in the chilly dark lol

Thats really great news! Hopefully the team will keep their roles and the brand is rejuvenated under new leadership 👍 Once the dust has settled, we should suggest a meet at the factory to show our support before a load of cars are SORN'd for the winter, I'd happily make the trip over

I took the car to Northampton Motorsport today for diagnosis. I think they knew the issue from my description before I arrived. It's no1 throttle body butterfly pin wear causing the butterfly to rattle and the tick tick noise. As soon as Troy put a screw driver tip against the butterfly , the tick tick stopped . Nothing to be concerned about unless the noise gets much much worse. Fantastic service and attention from @Northampton Motorsporttoday. Thank you @Northampton Motorsport

I’m starting this thread to try to keep focus on achieving getting my car from its current location in Wokingham, Berkshire at my parents, down to my home in Crewkerne before the end of September. I moved from Surrey (Walton-on-Thames) a year ago, and have a perfectly adequate garage to keep it in down there, it just happens to be filled with the bits of a large shed which came down with us but we probably won’t need and various other junk which can be reorganised to make room. I’ve just ordered a Carcoon Evo indoor storage bubble to keep it protected from damp, and that says it will be back in stock in 13 days, so between getting back from hols and the end of September I need to get the garage cleared, and co-ordinate a one way trip up to Berkshire to collect the car. I’m then hoping to get along to one or two of the Dorset or Somerset group meets before the weather turns too bad. So, please keep me honest; about any encouragement, cajoling, even bullying into getting my bottom in gear appreciated. Gratuitous pictures of the car just because.

Excellent news. As has been said previously, it makes sense to split Westfield and Chesil off from the other parts of the business. Best of luck to the buyers in getting everything back up and running, and revitilised!

If I lived where you do then I would happily do the same! We had a family holiday in Scotland about 4 weeks ago and travelled through the Cairngorms. Stunning part of the world!!!!
