  1. It was a well attended event Ours was the only Westfield in the car park We happen to sit by this Spitfire, owned by a lady for 47 years until recently when the current owner bought it, all original, no wonder he had a big smile on his face. Had a chat with Dale from Toybox, who was parked next to me in his Ford Orion, also had a chat with Richard Usher who the museum belongs to. Lots of lovely cars and people so worth another visit, seems these events are going to be on every month. @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO naughty boy for changing the title of this thread, there was not a crumb of CAKE in sight, tut, tut, I will make a complaint šŸ˜ƒ

  4. Looks like a fine day tomorrow, excited to be there with The Wench! Iā€™d camp, but my own bed is only 35 miles away and far too comfy, plus my snoring would get me murdered before dawn!

  5. Hi all! This has come around really quickly, but it's our pub meet again next week at the Clock Warehouse (DE72 2GL) at 7pm on Thursday 1st September! As normal we will be in the upstairs room (stairs on the left as you enter the pub) and we'll park in the right hand lower car park (space permitting). Hopefully the weather will be kind to us and we'll get some of our midlife crisis cars out. We had a fab turnout last time and some great photos (thanks to @Steve Bosworth for bringing the drone!)šŸ‘ Hope to see you there! Rob

  6. Last minute job I know, but if anyone is kicking about this evening there is a 'Gathering' of Cakes at The Great British Cake Journey, Ambergate, DE56 2HE. It is Ā£5 per car entry, there is food and drink available, last month there were over 200 cars attending. See you there!

  12. My penchant for, and history with, old-school JDM means that my list is expansive. If I won Lotto, I'd rather have 10 restored JDM's than a modern supercar. 1973 Nissan Skyline GTR 1971 Nissan Skyline GTR 1971 Isuzu Bellett 1600 GTR Here's a couple of examples of models I almost did own but foiled by procrastination... 1979 Toyota Chaser 1975 Toyota Corona Mark-2 coupe
