However, I'm missing the community and the excuse for tinkering (and spending) so I'm keeping my eye open for something else. I'm looking for something a bit quieter, more comfortable, with a screen, weather gear and even a heater. A nice Seight would probably tick a lot of the boxes, but this particular car is a little unusual, so it has piqued my interest. I suspect it'll be a bog-standard silvertop Zetec, so probably not quick enough for what I'm after.

I don’t mind admitting that you scared me a little on end during the test drive! 🤣 The car was immaculately built with love and obvious attention to detail and is truly a credit to yourself. It just goes to show you can't beat a bit of paper and a good memory, beats silly sat navs any day. Glad you all had a good run out and we thought about you all day, we even had cake for breakfast at Brantwood on Coniston Water.
