Fixed that for you Paul! I can't stress this enough, eBay's fees are insane for stuff like this now on a small business like ADB. These businesses do it because they have to, but wherever possible, if they have a more direct shop/sales channel, like, in this case, Mofast, do please, please use it! Just to highlight for those that don't know, Jase was one half of the superb parts team (with Patrick, who left before this all happened) that turned Westfield Parts Department completely around and earned much praise from us all. Buying our spares and parts from guys like this helps keep the knowledge and experience they posses of the brand, available to us all. It also helps support fellow enthusiasts of the marque, be it ADB or indeed Mofast. Who is way to modest to admit how much support and work he puts in that benefits us all! Much better than letting face less corporations take excessive cuts of our money!! (Rant over! )7 points

@Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman thanks @Mark Redpath - WSCC Membership Secretary Jase put these online earlier - https://mofast.co.uk/products/wind-deflector-side-screen-hinge-fitting-kit.html I believe he is adding a kit for the newer pillars later today. One thing to note is if you buy an ADB supplied part through MoFast. Jase and his Dad get 100%. In order to support what they are doing for the Westfield community we decide at MoFast soak up the transaction costs in our own margins etc to support their success. So in summary if you buy through MoFast they get all the money / if you buy through eBay then eBay take money off the table for them.6 points

Got out yesterday lunchtime whilst the rest of the family were on siesta. Photo of my Westy with Bamburgh Castle in the background. Out from Beadnell to Bamburgh via Seahouses and then across through Waren Mill for a short blast down the A1. Came off at Lucker and took the windy lanes through Ellingham back into Beadnell. Super weather and a fine drive. Car performing beautifully following the application of Chris’s magic fingers at EFI. Need to stiffen the dampers a little more at the back. Took too much off when I adjusted them and getting one or two additional bumps now.4 points

Richard did my XE 20 on carbs many years ago at Tipton garage. Steve was working for Janspeed at the time and helping out at weekends.1 point

A bit further away but Interpro in Thornbury Bristol area is really good on Carbs as well as electronic. They carry bits as well which many others do not. Make sure who ever you speak to at any site recommended, that you tell them make of carb and ask if they have jets in stock. Many will just balance your existing ones rather than make changes to jets etc1 point

I used Lloyd Specialist Developments Ltd in Warminster to set up and rolling-road my Westie. They did a great job, and I ended up at about 250 bhp at 5000rpm.1 point

I’m posting this advert on behalf of Steve’s wife Dawn. So, here for sale is a very well built and documented Westfield Sport 250 built by Steve (Bugman) before he sadly passed away. The initial Idea was for Dawn to keep the car and eventually hand it down to Josh but insurance prices and his age make that in-achievable. Anyway, This is Steve’s build diary for anyone with any questions regarding what’s in the car and how it was built. 2018 Post office Red Westfield Sport 250, FW rear end with a V8 bonnet upfront. 2700 miles from new MOT until Jan 2023 2.0 Ford Ecoboost engine Mazda NC 5 speed gearbox Sport turbo seats AIM Dash Widetrack Front Suspension Wet weather Gear (Roof & doors) Removable Steering Whee + loads more Steve had lots of electrical/mechanical upgrades planned for the car which will all be included in the sale. Some of these include extra ducts for cooling, switches for a new dash layout and a Carbon Fibre front splitter £28000 Anyone interested can contact Dawn on 07896067600.1 point
