I was asked by my daughter if I could provide 3 cars to take her friend and his 2 brothers to his wedding today. A shout out on the WhatsApp group got @Morley and @marcusbinterested with the mention of some beers. The wedding was at 1:30, so we met at Marcus' before to put some ribbons on the cars, then headed over to the groom's house. We had some interest while waiting in the supermarket car park. It was only a short run from there into Huddersfield and the Town Hall. After getting a bit lost with the one way system and bus lanes, we managed to get them there on time, well, on time to go to the pub for a pint! Congratulations to Micky and Martha.3 points

Thanks Martin, had a fantastic time and made some great memories in that car in the few years I had it, you’ll make many more, I’m sure! It was a great run over and back, to bring it to you, and a really nice way to part with it, with one last cross country run.2 points

Hi all! In the absence of @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative and Glen (who have more holidays than Alan Whicker!), we are doing a Peaks meet and run out tomorrow morning. It probably won't be as exciting as Julie's runs (I dont have same encyclopaedic knowledge of the Peaks!) but I'll do my best! We will meet up at the Woodside Cafe on Via Gellia Road (DE4 2AJ) at 10am for the usual coffee, butty and a chat before heading off for a 40 minute drive. We will head west through to Hartington and Hulme End and then north up to the Bull Yard (the renamed and reopened Bull I Thorn, SK17 9QQ) on the A515 for about 12 ish for a spot of lunch before going our seperate ways👍 For those coming from the south, we will do the normal A50/A38 services (DE65 6DX) pre meet for 9am so we can convoy up together. Hopefully we will see some of you in the morning, the forecast is looking good 😎1 point

Great news, I'm glad the car has gone to a good home! I've followed that car with @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairmanat the helm many times, it can certainly get around a corner at a rate of knots! 😂1 point

My tickets and pass have arrived too. I expect to be there on the Saturday and Sunday. Haven't been to the Classic since our 30 year outing onto the track a few years ago and that was a great day so I'm really looking forward to this one.1 point

Dear all, I have recently purchased a bespoke bag for my Westfield doors. I contacted Paul at 'midwater luggage' to make me a bag that fits 2 x doors, i gave him dimensions and a rough description of what I wanted and a couple of weeks later a bag arrived. Well impressed, now I can hang the doors up without being scratched, bashed or gathering dust. Speaking to Paul, he can make any type of bag, with/without padding, handles etc. Prices are very good indeed and more importantly, supporting a British company. https://www.midwater.co.uk/ N.B - I have no connections with Paul or Midwater luggage, just supporting a British Company who provides a great product.
