  3. A well attended meeting tonight, with us filling the car park up. The Cobra club joined us, having their meeting with us as they will be away on a tour of the Dales on the normal meeting date. Plenty speed series boys too.

  5. Why not sign up for the paid trial? It's not dear and you'll get full access to one of the friendliest and most helpful car forums. You'll then be able to message sellers etc Good luck in your search.

  14. It's a great spec, for sure, but also a very individualised car that's outside of the "norm", I suspect, much like my Sigma engined car, it'll need advertising to the largest possible number of potential buyers, in order to find just the right one.

  15. To help with your search ZK refers to a style of bodywork not the chassis. The widebody chassis frames are the same regardless of whether you choose to fit ZK bodywork or FW bodywork. likewise the chassis were designed to accommodate several different engine options, typically only the engine mounts would be different but these just bolt in. the major differences to be aware of are live axle rear suspension vs independent rear and the different gearbox tunnel widths. The narrowest gearbox tunnel is typically referred to as the type9 and as you’ve guessed was designed for the Ford type9 gearbox, these were typically on early cars. The wider MT75 tunnel will take the Ford MT75 gearboxes and various others. There are also other variations for V8’s and Honda S2000 etc but all should be suitable for a Zetec install.
