  1. Hi, I collected my seiw this past Friday near Exeter, and I drove 2000km to my home. Almost 1500km in one day. No worries, all perfect!!

  2. I'm planning to drive behind you, as you'll be keen to show off your prowess with your TomTom navigation and hence I won't need the middle pedal, 'Captain Slow' 😉

  3. Finally got fed up with the candle powered 4" Dominators on the car. They look good but mean you have to creep along after dark. Hopefully these 5.75" LEDs will work a bit better 😄 I just need some new bowls to put them in now.

  4. OK, we seem to have reached a point, where there isn't much real news, plenty of speculation and a lot of raised emotions. To be absolutely clear; various posts, innocently made, some just trying to be helpful and giving examples of things that happened elsewhere, were seen by and reacted to by the company handling Westfield Sports Cars current situation. As a result, Fridays collection day that had been arranged for a few people has been cancelled. Those posts have now been hidden, I know, I know, stable door and all that, and this thread locked. If and when we get more solid information regarding the Administration process we will keep you up to date in fresh threads. I suspect it may be a little while. Bearing in mind the "damage" we have accidentally and unwittingly inflicted on those fellow club members affected by this change of heart on Friday's collection, we would ask once again, until things are clearer and public statements have been made by the companies involved, for the sake of those customers of the factory, both Club members and none members, can we please refrain from starting up more threads to speculate, and in instances, without meaning to, inflame the situation.

  5. Afternoon all, Nick here from TigerRacing, due to unfortunate events it’s with great sadness that Westfield has gone into administration, even though it’s a competitor it’s always sad to see company’s in this industry go under especially a company as big as Westfield. That being said we also understand the great stress owners / builders of westfields will now be under. So here at Tiger we’d like to extend a helping hand to anyone with a Westfield who’s struggling for bits or parts, MOT’s or anything else. We know the fall out from this is going to affect many enthusiasts and we don’t like to see the community struggle. King regards, The Tiger Racing team

  7. Many thanks for this - my XI is a long way off but I've put a bid in on the bodyshell parts for IVA. If anyone else needs them before me then I'm happy to either let you win the bid or lend them to you as long as I can have them when I need them (sometime in the next two years...)

  9. Well, despite requests and suggestions to rein it back in, we haven't. As a result, NO ONE is now collecting ANYTHING on Friday. And posts in THIS thread are the main reason. The insolvency people are on here, they are reading it, and now have justifiable concern for their own safety, the threat of "a few big lads" from various different justifiably upset clients arriving, attempting to gain access etc. We don't have any idea, at the moment, what parts of the orders that are sitting at the factory, have actually been paid for by WSC Ltd either, so even though you may have paid for that item, it may not be the factories to give you, and it's removal could be construed theft! But for the time being, no public (ie on the forum, whether in main or members only areas) discussion along the lines of going grabbing stuff etc, no matter how successful or otherwise you or your mate found it in the past, or speculation of what the Insolvency practioners are doing. If as a club, we have solid information from them, we will post it. If you have information that you're not sure if you should share, then PM either the mod team or myself and let us know. We will collate and respond. If the group who thought they had stuff there to collect want to set up a group PM to share the responses, again, that's fine, not a problem, if you're not sure how, let me know and I'll start it. This is something we need to do to protect the interests of our members. We will all, I'm sure, spend years dissecting the events of the current few weeks, when they're over. But for the moment, we need to be smart about it, and control our selves.

  10. OK, so I've been doing some digging and research through old receipts, packaging etc and picking peoples brains where possible to try and pull together a snap shot of "what came from where" at the factory. Hopefully this was all still current at the end, but without speaking to each of them I can't confirm. Note the list is provided "as is". I haven't been in communication with any of these guys, their details come from Google. I would suggest, if you want to try and see if you could obtain anything directly from one, start a thread here on the forum first, and see if you can get a few of you together, before contacting them. Goodwill, given they may be placed in awkward situations by the factory closing, may evaporate quickly if a couple of dozen people ring for the same thing! But there they are, worth a try.

  13. Good afternoon everyone, Thought I'd say hello as a new member. Back in April I put a deposit down on a Mega S2000 with Toybox, this will be my first Westfield having never owned or even sat in one before! I'm hoping to collect the car later on this week or next. I live up in Rossendale, I think my closest area meet would be Lancashire? Does anyone know the history of the car or whether it was built/owned by any other forum members? Thanks, Alex

If you’re down this way then get in touch and I’ll add you to the WhatsApp for local info and drives etc! Thanks to all those that came along! Sean
