  3. A video from me: Last session of the day on a quiet track. Chased after @Jack T and then @Andy - a15cro's pal in the burgundy car (forgotten his name. 😚) Last lap was my quickest.

  4. If you turn up on time you will get to enjoy the convoy. It’s looking like a pretty busy one this year so should be good.

  5. I’m hoping someone can take over for a bit after Stafford as I will be missing the last services drive through to pick up a VIP and hopefully rejoin in time to pick up the convoy

  6. It's going to be 'cracking flags'- not that anyone using Fahrenheit, will get that 😉

  7. For an Android phone, to start Live Location: In the Stoneleigh Whats App group, click on the paper clip add-file button, in the space you'd normally type a message. That will then pop up a menu asking you what sort of thing to add, select "Location" Then, it will take you to another screen, asking you whether to share live location - select this - the other options will just send a snapshot of your current position, but won't update. This takes you to a final page, Select 8 hours to cover the whole trip down, (you can turn it off at any time, once there) and then hit the green send arrow to confirm. Your post with your live location on, will now show in the group chat. As others add themselves, they will also appear on the map.

  13. Hi David, no we don't join at the services, Sandbach isn't an "official" stop/pick-up point, we essentially join "from the slip road" at junction 17, though thanks to Whats App live location, we can actually see the convoy approach now, so can time arriving on the slip road well enough to normally have a rolling start onto the M6 either just ahead, so that the convoy catches up, or just behind, so we can tuck in at the rear of the group. We meet up here, normally, in the small car park just opposite the Co-Op/Petrol station. usually at about 8-8.10am, to give time for any last minute fuel top ups or shopping for drinks etc at the little Co-Op etc

  15. Good day today, nice to catch up with people. Few issues to iron out on the car but that’s the fun of it sometimes ready for the next one! As said last run of the day was spot on, got a good few quiet laps in!

  18. They say 'Don't leave town 'til you've seen the country'. So, organise a Scotland tour (NC500 et al) and tack the Scottish Lowlands Mystery Navigation Run (Sat 13th Aug) to the start, middle or end of it. Shameless advertising, I know! (see Events section)
