  1. Oh my, what a run, what a blinking run, no traffic and lots of turns, with such amazing views. I don't seem to have taken many photo's today so it's a good job you got some good ones @Andy Westwood Meeting at Mcd's, Matlock were 13 Westfield's, all looking good. We did The Square Route of Buxton and finished at Blaze Ice Cream Farm. This route is just the best and I will leave it at that. Inside it got a bit messy And the naughty behavior carried on outside More twisty, scenic roads took us off in our different directions, leaving ABC, Mad Dog Pete and us to have a last brew at Adam's Happy Hen's. Thanks for coming everyone, nice to see the SORN's back out and a few newbie's to keep us fresh, do come again. See you all next Sunday at Stoneleigh. What a route, did I mention that!! it's nothing without all you guys though XXXXXXX

  3. Impromptu little meet up at Curborough this morning to watch a bit of sprinting in the sunshine 🌞 Then back home to be greeted by the grandkids.... little George is desperate to get out in Grandads "racing car", sadly he has to make do with sitting on my lap when I drive it into the garage for now 😂

  10. Great to see everyone and have a Westfield to drive in too. The view from the back of the convoy was amazing- the colours were really popping with the full sunshine. Sorry we missed you at Happy Hens this time- I was busy being hoodwinked into having a tropical freshwater aquarium.... watch this space. A different angle from the carpark in Matlock (complete with finger tip!) See you next time.

  21. What sort. I knocked up a frame of my roll bar and windscreen made from wood at almost the right angles. Covered it in 3mm ply and did the bendy bits in cardboard then covered it in cheap duct tape. Lathered that in furniture polish then laid up a thin shee of fibre glass on the mold. Offered that up to the car to make sure it fitted then tried it to size, laid the top on the angle of the windscreen and put a lip on the back to slot over the roll bar. Not bad for someone whose never made anything from fibre glass before

  23. Thank for the great route and great ice cream 🤤. had a little down moment on the way back. Coming around rainworth on the A617, had a terrible noise coming from my drivetrain😖, with the car juddering which goes when the clutch is pressed in. time for the truck of shame, sitting in a gateway for two hours.
