  6. 1998 Westfield SEIGHT V8 3.9L EFI, S reg. SOLD 7,500 documented miles from new. My ownership since 2017, previous owner from 2006, and 3 prior to that date according to the V5C. Rolling road shows 194BHP/205lbft. Factory built (original invoice) in red with black trim. Westfield sports seats with 4-point harnesses fitted. Side screens, boot tonneau in black, Walker St Claire cover, and Perspex wind deflectors. Boot cover has additional zipped bag for storage. 15in Super Tourer wheels with Yokohama A520 205/50/15 tyres fitted (3.5mm front and rear, spare unused). Black carbon effect guards to rear wings. Upgraded brakes, anti-theft immobiliser, DRE shift light system. R380 gearbox, Tornado software, Magnecor leads, and all hoses / gaiters replaced 2019-21. This is a really lovely car and the 6th Westfield I have had over the last 25 years, but age is catching up with me (81), and having spare garage space would be a bonus. email: emdservices@msn.com

  14. Hi All, I thought I'd introduce myself as I have just become a member of the WSCC, despite having been around Westfields for over 20 years (heaven knows why it's taken me so long!?!). My name is Lee, I'm based in Merseyside and have popped in and out of the forums for a good while now but have only posted for the first time today... Me and my dad have had several Westfields over the years - the obsession (because it is an obsession ๐Ÿคช) started just before my 17th birthday with a copy of Ron Champion's famous book. We were poised to start a Locost build and had even started collecting parts, before a Westfield advert in CCC lead to us travelling down to Kingswinsford for the first time and having a blast out in the then new Speedsport demonstrator (it was bright Orange and I remember being excited to see it in all the motoring press afterwards). Fast forward to 12 months later, we'd moved to a house with a garage for the first time and, just after moving, got invited by Westfield to go and test some new cars that they were developing down at Curborough... it turned out that the first of the bike engined cars were circulating (the Megablade and Megabusa), I fell in love and haven't looked back since... We've since built two Fireblade engined cars (one of which we kept for 11 years) and a Blackbird engined one, all of which got moved on as my kids came along and time and money got tight. However, just before lockdown I came across the old Megabusa demonstrator from 2000/2001 for sale in Cornwall and I couldn't resist, so I'm back in the Westfield fold. I love my trackdays but do a lot more driving on road than on track, and can be found zipping about North Wales and Cheshire on most sunny Sundays. Hopefully being part of the WSCC will mean that I can get out and about a bit more in my car with some like-minded people, and it'll give my other half's ears a rest from the incessant Westfield chat ๐Ÿ˜„ Lee. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  15. Hi there! I'm Simon from Spain. I love lightweight cars and I would like to own a Westfield. I have an Opel Speedster turbo, and I loving it. But I think that I need something more pure, less is more. I tried to write in "for sale" forum but I can't...I think that the problem is that I haven't got any message or something similar. I would like to buy a megabusa, but I don't know if I can register the car here, because I need the COC. The other option is one with a minimum of 30 years old, to register with classic plates. But most are SE not SEI...and I prefer the ford zetec engine, cheap and reliable. Cheers!!๐Ÿป

  16. Just tickling around with routes and looking at the good weather I think we might do the 'Square Route of Buxton' and finish at Blaze Ice Cream Farm. Tip - have a small tea in McD's

  18. I was about to confirm attendance, when I was reminded that I'm going to the Black Country Museum with 'er indoors and some of the family. Hey-ho - two Sundays on the trot would have used up too many brownie points anyway Have a great day

  19. Welcome to the fold. I had a go at driving the original Megabusa demonstrator at the factory but couldn't get to grips with it which was a shame as I really loved the idea of it in all other respects. I just couldn't rev it and slip the clutch enough, so I bought a V8 ๐Ÿ˜„ You are probably just about close enough to join some of the Peak District runs Lots of cake. Maybe see you around. Luke.

  24. Had the first run of the year last night after fitting a new battery. Made a huge difference to how the car started and ran. I can't fault the original though. Odessey PC680 bought 13 years ago and it still turned the engine over (just) on Sunday.
