  1. Midday spin down on the South Coast, stopped for a pub lunch in Abbotsbury, and found these guarding the car when we returned to head off home.

  4. 1998 Westfield SEIGHT V8 3.9L EFI, S reg. SOLD 7,500 documented miles from new. My ownership since 2017, previous owner from 2006, and 3 prior to that date according to the V5C. Rolling road shows 194BHP/205lbft. Factory built (original invoice) in red with black trim. Westfield sports seats with 4-point harnesses fitted. Side screens, boot tonneau in black, Walker St Claire cover, and Perspex wind deflectors. Boot cover has additional zipped bag for storage. 15in Super Tourer wheels with Yokohama A520 205/50/15 tyres fitted (3.5mm front and rear, spare unused). Black carbon effect guards to rear wings. Upgraded brakes, anti-theft immobiliser, DRE shift light system. R380 gearbox, Tornado software, Magnecor leads, and all hoses / gaiters replaced 2019-21. This is a really lovely car and the 6th Westfield I have had over the last 25 years, but age is catching up with me (81), and having spare garage space would be a bonus. email: emdservices@msn.com

  5. Maybe possibly maybe. I am out all day Saturday refereeing so it will be dependent on the good will of my lovely wife. Even if i just drive over to Matlock, or meet you for lunch wherever you end up it would be nice to be there.

  6. Julie’s Battle of the Odo’s competition is back for another year, and if you need an excuse to drive your Westfield, here is one - not that you should need an excuse, of course. The MOT certificate records an odometer reading. This competition is looking for the member who has the biggest mileage difference between their Westfield’s 2021 and 2022 MOT certificate odometer readings. In my opinion getting the ‘Westfield’ miles in makes you a winner anyway. The prize for first place is £50 worth of vouchers to spend at the Westfield Factory Parts Department and for this year only they will also receive the Chris Smith award. Second and third place will get you £10 and £5, respectively, off your membership renewal in WSCC for next year. What are you waiting for? Get driving! THE BORING BITS • The mileage must be in a Westfield. • The competition is open to WSCC members only, not the Committee or Area Organisers. • The closing date is midnight 8th November 2022. • Email your mileage to peak@wscc.co.uk with a copy of your MOT certificate attached. • The judge’s decision is final. • You must agree to your entry being published in Westfield World magazine and online in the WSCC forum. • Prizes must be redeemed within 12 months, are non-transferable and no substitute prize or cash equivalent will be offered. • If you have won first place in this competition before you cannot enter it again. • The winner this year will receive the Chris Smith Award.

  9. What sort. I knocked up a frame of my roll bar and windscreen made from wood at almost the right angles. Covered it in 3mm ply and did the bendy bits in cardboard then covered it in cheap duct tape. Lathered that in furniture polish then laid up a thin shee of fibre glass on the mold. Offered that up to the car to make sure it fitted then tried it to size, laid the top on the angle of the windscreen and put a lip on the back to slot over the roll bar. Not bad for someone whose never made anything from fibre glass before

  10. we don't get to speak to everyone when we are static on a stand and when I wandered around last year it was great to actually spend time with each club stand so will be doing that again
