@NigelO now that is one good piece of footage, 3D it shows the scenery off well as well as the cars, how lucky we are here in the Peak District to have you THANK YOU @Labrat I have been for a swim in Matlock Bath today, the traffic is slowly flowing and we came back through Bakewell, not busy there either, only slight delays due to the constant use of pedestrian crossings, surprising isn't it?1 point

Looks like a good run out. Sorry to have missed it. You were brave going through. Matlock Bath on a bank holiday A couple of weeks ago there was a Corsa on its roof in that exact spot. No idea what they did to get it there in that state?!1 point

10 cars met at McD's on a warm and sunny Easter Sunday, 9 Westfield's and Andy with his son, Josh in the Porsche. Excuse me while I have a Porsche moment. Josh tried the Westfield's for size, just in case dad wants to buy one 😉 Parked at McD's After Nigel fine tuned my route 😁 he then declared that he had bought the drone with him and if I could find some quiet road he would film the cars for us, it is rude to refuse so here we are. Mine All of us After the filming we got a clear run up Crowdecote, came back round on the new road and landed at Hulme End where we just about managed to fill the car park up. At Hulme End Bonnets came off Car park Big Andy and Debs were waiting for us, they are supposed to be at their caravan but managed to sneak out and meet us. Over in the red corner Martin Glynn A was bribed into revealing his super charged Honda engine for us to feel inadequate over Nigel was checking the weight of his bonnet so he can decide if he wants a carbon fibre one or not😉 Painting carbon fibre is not a crime and Nigel's car looks lovely for it. It is a religious day so Rob was blessing Glynn. We have been blessed with quiet roads and great company, but if you all don't behave yourselves this will be the future Thanks for a great day out everyone and thank you for your comments and photo's afterwards, it makes all the effort worthwhile xxx1 point

My understanding is it won't be until the closing date for volunteers. Book your own places either day tickets, or camping, (which includes day ticket) direct with Stoneleigh. (I've just booked my camping pass). Yes, we will all have to pay this year. Our Treasurer is working on something where we can help support our volunteers this year, but needs confirmation which due to the bank holiday he won't be able to speak to the office till Tuesday. There won't be any cash refunds, but we are looking into some kind of voucher/credit for the WSCC volunteers. Precise details as soon as we've confirmed.1 point

What sort. I knocked up a frame of my roll bar and windscreen made from wood at almost the right angles. Covered it in 3mm ply and did the bendy bits in cardboard then covered it in cheap duct tape. Lathered that in furniture polish then laid up a thin shee of fibre glass on the mold. Offered that up to the car to make sure it fitted then tried it to size, laid the top on the angle of the windscreen and put a lip on the back to slot over the roll bar. Not bad for someone whose never made anything from fibre glass before1 point

Hey everyone, I know my kits, but there's never harm in learning more and I learn so much from your build posts so keep them coming! I've been helping out my neighbour (who is also our client) with his Robin Hood repairs and I've loved every minute of it, I am insured to drive it and have been out for a couple of blats - even though it's my first time back in a manual since passing my test many years ago 😄 so yes, before you ask, I did stall it more than once hahahaa. On a serious note, this is just an example of how important it is for me to fully learn about what we insure because just selling a product isn't what we are about, we are so proud to be a part of your community, tag along to meets and hang out with you at events - because that's what the kit world is about, getting out and enjoying the cars and their journeys. But here we go, my little gearbox change adventure! https://blog.aplan.co.uk/robin-hood-gearbox-change/ Please share your builds below! I love to see them! Carlie P.s. see you at Stoneleigh1 point
