Just when you think that you have seen everything you look at a bike boot box and it moves! ooo what's that? it's a Pug!!🤣 they had even fitted an aeroscreen for the dog But before that we all met in McD's car park in Matlock Becky was wearing a fun jumper which matched her fun bag, like it like it, funny After breakfast and a good chat we set off on our route all the way along the twisty A6, through Bakewell and through Buxton, on unbelievably quiet roads, it can be Mother's Day more often. Up on the high ground at Buxton we took off onto a small road that connects Flash with Longnor where the views were beautiful in the sunshine, to land us at Hulme End. Hulme End car park, no fluids were spilled here😁 or here Mr Bagpuss After lunch it all got a bit messy it just kept coming At Hulme End catching up on the car news Then we acted like 5 year olds and the lolly's came out, the refresher lolly's were the favourite ones, how old were you when you last ate a refresher lolly? you can't beat tyre kicking with lolly's The driving has been good, the cars have run well and they looked great, but best of all is the company and the laugh we have. Thanks for coming and hope to see you all next Sunday for more of the same xxx6 points

I’ve brought my dogs on occasion and seen others with theirs. In fact, my West Highland White Terrier, Sophie, memorably had to be moved on during an AGM because she was outside the marquee barking while I was giving the chairman’s report and wouldn’t shut up… @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary et al confirm… 🤦♂️2 points

Not my first time at Stoneleigh but potentially the first time for my lovely wife. But we have a hurdle to overcome… Anyone know what the policy is on bringing a dog? I’m trying to persuade the wife to join me but she won’t leave the pooch and we’re on the limit with pooch sitting favours this year! We will be in the camper van in case you’re wondering 🤣 he’s no bother…2 points

I think we need an annual Gary Taylor award..... For the most westfield miles in pursuit of fish and chips. 😂1 point

Daft as a box of frogs ? Left just after 1 pm in lovely sun and home just after 8pm in the pitch dark!! 220 miles for fish n chips at ullapool and stopped to help a lotus Elise who’d broken down, I left when the breakdown arrived, hope he got home okay Not to much traffic north of Inverness and on the way home. Cleared my mind and put a smile on my face1 point

It's not, in fact, it's opened up a good discussion amongst us. No-one selects moderators. Moderators are volunteers, just like AOs. Any member in good standing can ask to be considered becoming a moderator, although obviously we do not need hundreds of them either. We normally would request for volunteers if we think we could use a few more moderators. That's not to say we would turn volunteers away, but there may just be no demand for more moderators. If you have a concern about a moderator, then please feel free to send me or any other of the committee a message with your concerns. We will listen!1 point

Isn’t it brilliant that we loose an hour on Mother’s Day. Makes the whole experience that much shorter. Small mercies but nevertheless welcome 😀😀. Enjoy your day out. Weather forecast looks good. Jealous obs.1 point

we don't get to speak to everyone when we are static on a stand and when I wandered around last year it was great to actually spend time with each club stand so will be doing that again1 point
