Sunset drive in Snowdonia this evening.

Looks like we missed a great day out. But we are making lots of progress on the winter upgrades (proof below) and we'll be back out soon.

@Captain Colonial , @CherryTreeFW and all members.. the Stoneleigh team will have lots of info to issue shortly on WSCC at Stoneleigh for 2022, entry , helpers, AGM, camping, Hog roast etc etc please bear with us until after our next meeting next Monday after which further information and details will be published

Golly, lots of photo's today but then again lots of people have been on their knees praying to the Westfield Gods that they get home with a full bottle of coolant😁, making for many excellent photo opportunities. Glynn was first to arrive at Quackers and his car sounded wonderful now his throttle bodies have been fitted. He was soon joined by 11 more Westfield's, a RAW Striker, a VX220 and a Porsche, 15 cars in total, wow😍. Plus Paul and Margaret Hurdsfield who joined us for breakfast and collected a roll bar. First car of many to have a wee wee today was Dave's We were actually busy admiring Dave's new wheels, which have Uniroyal Rainsport 5 tyres on and having a fat, rounded shape just look amazing, perhaps the best set up I have ever seen on a Westfield. They really do look fantastic👍 have a look here Parked at Quackers We all took a seat on the sun terrace and enjoyed our first refreshments of the day. The long convoy set off down the 13 bends, up to Owler Bar for the cracking scenery on Surprise View before taking in the Winnat's Pass and Mam Nick. We pulled into the Rambler Inn, Edale in time for the next wee wee of the day which was from Lee who had a slight oil leak after over-tightening a nut. Out came the tool box and the praying began The Rambler Inn car park Mmm, the Sunday dinner's arrived thick and fast. Chicken leg's anyone? We came out of the pub to the next wee wee of the day, this time it was Martin's turn to get down on his knee's and pray Tool box out too Big Andy didn't want to be left out so he had a little wee too Bagpuss looking sweet and innocent in the afternoon sunshine, despite his naughtiness😍 @HB46443 was greatly missed today and we hope that you are feeling ok after a spot of bad luck with one of these Westfield munching machines We all departed our separate ways from the pub and with the lengthening days ABC, son Mad Dog Pete, Big Andy and Debs came with Glen and I to Adam's Happy Hen's where ABC treated us to tea and ice cream, THANKYOU. Parked at Adam's Happy Hen's in the sinking sun Thank you to all that came today, to Rob for bringing Gregg (we need to see the Fisher Fury next time!), Julian on his second visit, newbie Barry who bought his sweet 10 years old son Tom, Martin out of hibernation and Si for coming all those miles PLUS all the regulars who are so great at making everyone feel welcome. Great to see so many out today, the cars looked amazing and everyone seemed to get sorted in the end, but do please go and check your bottom hose on your radiator as it is the new fashion for it to leak. Next weekend is Mother's Day so we will be reverting to cafe's as they are quieter than the pubs, see you then!

Great run and meet today. Started at Edenbridge then 86 mile's zigzaging across East Sussex and Kent culminating at Hawkhurst fisheries for a well deserved breakfast.

Early run out this morning down on the Jurassic Coast - stopped off for a photo overlooking Lyme Bay and then remortgaged the house to fill up with fuel! 60.2 miles and 1 hr 41 mins

Meet at McDonalds, Matlock, DE4 3AU at 10am. After refreshments we will have a wiggle around the Peak District and I think the quietest place to finish will be at The Tea Junction Cafe, Hulme End, plus the car park surface is sort of dusty and absorbent 😁🧽 Anyone care to join us?

A day out started with a meet up with “canonbawz” at Elgin then a lovely day beckoned so a wee run up around speyside to Grantown then over Ferness, then a wee oopsie as the lochindorb road was closed at the other end , so about turn and took the alternative route via logie steading ( a wee coffe and cake) then Forres for more fuel and home

Breakfast meeting at the Motorist this morning, there were others there but we weren't parked together.

Oh yessssss it all good upto press but I might be on my own lol

Old flourescent tubes fade with age so don't live up to their original lumen rating when old but LEDs don't, they just flicker before they die.
