We met at McD's Matlock, a great big well done to Glynn for getting there against the odds, nice to see you and your car with the new throttle bodies on back with us. 7 Westfield's, enough to fill the end of the car park Julian joined us too in his 2 litre silvertop Zetec engined car. Welcome Julian, you will find that if you can eat a lot and talk a lot in between the driving, then you will do just fine. We were all subjected to the usual hairy legs Andrew kept up tradition and had dessert number one for breakfast, ice cream, brrr. Warming up in McD's Next we went on the run, past Bikerpics of course, up the Via Gellia and turning off onto the twisty road that follows the Bentley brook, thankfully the flooding had subsided. Next we turned onto the smaller lanes that take us through the beautiful Dove Dale and Ilam, giving us great views in all this lovely sunshine and landing us at The Greyhound in Warslow. If only the war could slow hey. The Greyhound car park We were very slightly early as the roads had been quieter than expected so it gave Ian a chance to show us his new front brakes with the colour co-ordinated pipes. The secret slipped out that he also wears pink nail varnish and it seems that he has spilt some. Another pub, another Sunday and that means another beef dinner, it's a hard life. , Julian kindly took a photo of us before having to leave, hope to see you again soon. Dessert soon arrived. Looking good Glynn. Second dessert of the day for some hey Andrew! My electric glove was found...in Dave's pocket.......wasn't it Big Andy, you little thief you 😃 Next Glynn, ABC and Big Andy and Debs followed me back past bikerpics for a pose through a thronging Matlock Bath on the way home, a great end to a fantastic day out, thanks for coming everyone.8 points

Ok I’ll try and get something posted - might not be quick though, just back from holiday and pesky customers queuing up for a chunk of my time! ( I Will create a new thread so as not to detract from this advert)1 point

We are looking into this, but I'm unsure yet where the issue lies. I had the same issue on my laptop (OSX) and after removing the stored SSL certificate from the keychain and then re-adding it and setting the settings on the certificate to Always Trust it hasn't been an issue. On my work laptop (Windows) it wasn't an issue. It may be a server issue, it may be a client issue, hence the investigation is still ongoing.1 point

No, that would never happen, he'd kill them all or throw them in prison. The Russian people will never speak out in large enough numbers to make any difference. You can see this in the recent media interviews of Russian people, it's very clear they will not speak out. We're still thinking like westerners. Now as for racism, well they're white and they're mostly Christian, although 70% of Russia is actually in Asia. The only thing that really separates us is location and political ideology. My comments don't come from UK media outlets, they come from my experience and in talking to friends, family, work colleagues from Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia and other Eastern European countries. In fact one Polish colleague, about 4 years ago, had much harsher words for Russia and it's people than I would ever dare to repeat. I tend to believe there are good and bad everywhere, but this colleague he was not so "enlightened", he also commented that a certain other EE country was "just as bad". Some pretty good, or at least interesting explanations of Ukraine/Russia "issues" from before the narrative changed. https://www.vox.com/2014/9/3/18088560/ukraine-everything-you-need-to-know https://www.theguardian.com/environment/earth-insight/2014/mar/06/ukraine-crisis-great-power-oil-gas-rivals-pipelines1 point

Many thanks. It's been an immense monetary loss, mainly due to the now unmentionable crookedness of the prep company. I took a lower offer to ensure the project went to someone who has the means, drive and experience to see it through. But I just want to move on and away.1 point

A beautiful sunny day for a last minute impromptu meet up at Curborough to watch the Autosolo for a couple of hours this morning. I've never watched an autosolo before, but seems a fun and cost effective way of getting into motorsport. Amazingly there were about 50 cars competing from little hatches like Micra's, Nova's, Mini's etc, loads of MX5's and even a couple of Mk1 Escorts.1 point
