Wow it's that time of year again, and the ONLY bill I'll ever welcome has just arrived and been paid. Here's to another year of membership (reaches for class of beer (non virtual honest) ) See you all soon when we can get out and about a bit more. Nem..............3 points

That's exactly what I say about the annual car tax, the only tax that I love to pay 😃2 points

Yeah, and that's about where I'd have still priced it privately. A commercial sale, you have to add on a bit more, (thousands not hundreds), but that price is crazy. It's got some nice bits. But not as many as you'd think for that sort of money, and some of the ones it has, while expensive to buy, like dry sump systems, are renown for adding little to the actual value of the car. To be honest, at the price offered, given the photos, and the description to go with it, I doubt I'd even go see it, (as an ex red top owner) if I was looking for another. Too much would still need doing for me, and its already priced more than one of the "done" ones, when they do come up. I'd also note that of the parts that can be seen, some aren't the optimum versions, you'd go for, given the choice. (Throttle bodies, dash, etc.) The only exception to that would be if it was a car with a well known "record" or pedigree performance wise, in competition, that proved the value of the unseen things that had been done to it.2 points

Who's interested for this year - McWesties, and any other members nationwide? Tack it to the start or end of a NC500 trip or other? Some Saturday in August. Destination possibles - Peebles or Lanark. Accomodation will be dearer this year, that's just the way it is nowadays, but I'd be trying for group earlybird discount at the chosen hotel (but of course there is also other local B&B's etc you can take, but the dinner would be at the nominated hotel). Or just do it as a day-trip.1 point

SOLD Selling project - 99% of parts to complete the car are there in boxes. Over £100,000 in parts alone has gone into this project, anyone who is interested in buying it as a job lot I’ll be happy to entertain offers - I'm very reasonable and won't be asking the earth, feel free to contact. I am leaving Westfields and would like the quickest route out. Too many parts to list in one post, but happy to supply the complete list of components, photos and discuss any aspect. Build thread over at https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/topic/124372-build-diary-westfield-seiynergy-how-much-power-is-too-much-power/ I have an itemized list of the parts I can send which comprise (but not limited to) – Synergy V8 twin-turbo engine (0 miles) ~750bhp - 1,000bhp depending on how much boost you run. It's a macroblock engine (based on Kawasaki ZX12 x2). What will likely be one of the best sounding engines ever – V8, flat plane crank, 13,000rpm, individual MoTeC FBW throttle bodies, twin roller bearing turbos, anti-lag, flat shift, throttle blip the works… EFR 6758 turbos (with correct back housing for higher RPM) with speed sensors. Full stainless equal length exhaust systems from Edwards with custom made carbon silencers. V8 Westfield chassis, with all components, new Caged roll cage, bodywork, strengthened and paneled (in carbon fibre) with carbon floor Quaife 69G heavy duty sequential dog box with AP twin plate clutch and pneumatic paddle shift. Penske shocks with remote reservoirs. Siltech wide-track, fully adjustable/rose jointed (front and rear). F3 AP brakes, floating AP rotors with Siltech uprights. AP rears with lightened discs. MoTeC running gear throughout - M150 ECU with level 3 datalogging, C125 dash with additional logging, PDM 15, PDM 16, 16-way keypad, 5 way rotary selector, 2x SLC remote shift lights, LTC dual lambda, MoTeC sensors for everything, etc. No cross-breeding of brands, everything is MoTeC. Full carbon throughout - all panels, floor, CSR aero front wings, extra wide rear wings, nose, lights, seats, dash, aeroscreen, handbrake, etc. It's all carbon. F3 Tilton pedal box setup. Aero package comprising full width dual element time attack style rear in full carbon, front splitter (carbon), etc. Multiple sets of wheels (magnesium Dymags), 8” front, 10” rear, with many spares. Dual paddle (carbon) steering wheel, with wireless controls (via Rapfix wireless q/r boss). New Titan quick ratio rack. Etc. etc. Nearly all parts brand new and unused / 0 miles. No expense was spared on the parts for the build, top spec/highest quality on each component. Basically, F1 levels of power, F3 levels of electrics and suspension all fitting into a normal sized Westfield V8 chassis. As mentioned, the total expense in parts so far is over £100k, and that doesn’t include the labour done (although apparently, I’m not allowed to talk about that any more says the WSCC committee *massive eye roll*). I’d prefer to sell as a job lot and so all reasonable offers considered. Doesn’t even need to go into a Westfield, you could transplant this into another platform e.g Mk2 Escort, Starlet, Caterham, etc. If no joy selling as a whole, then it’ll all be split up and posted individually. Happy to discuss in full any aspect of this in PMs or in the other forums. I can supply the itemised parts list via PM/email. Note: I had received kind offers from various individuals to help complete this build, and one well-known suspension/prep company (whom have been excellent and incredibly helpful) to sort things out, but given a recent family emergency I have opted to sell up and move on. (some sample shots attached of some components, others available on request).1 point
