Hi all, I thought I would pop up some pictures of my new purchase! Its a 1994 Westfield Se with a 1.6 Xflow and 4 speed box. I purchased it from a lady who's husband built it and then toured around Europe in it so its covered 30k! (Quite how he managed that I do not know!) Unfortunatley aside from all the original MOT's all the history is lost which is a shame. It also means im a bit lost as to the spec and build details of the car! The lady did have an active part in the car but when it comes to the mechanics she didn't know much. The clutch was stuck when I picked it up but following some guides on the web I managed to un-stick that. It starts very well and seems to rev nicely on the spot but my first drive didn't go all that well, it seems to bog down the second you call for throttle and doesn't run well at all so any pointers there would be ace! A few things i've noted is there is a lot of oil around the engine bay! and I mean a lot so will need to look at where that is coming from. There is also a little box with lumenition written on it in the floor well but all the wires to this are not connected so assuming its still on points? That aside the gauges seem to all work! the ride (from the small drive) seemed to be nice with no odd noises etc and its quite a charming little thing! Lastly the seats need to go, they seem to be bits of wood covered in vinyl! So if anyone has any narrow seats that would be ace! Im based in Essex so will have to try and come to a meet when its up and running! Sorry for the essay! this looks like a great club!

Morning. As no one seems to be able to come up with a cheaper alternative, I thought I’d just drop you a note to say that Demon Thieves sell it by the meter. Good stuff and relatively easy to work with. You can get it cheaper from fleabay etc but beware of imitations. Too important to take a risk just to save £10!
