I think I have managed to retrospectively apply the fix to the current server config. Will keep an eye on performance and uploads to see how it goes...

This is just for information to the committee as the issue has been resolved. My membership lapsed on the 7th February - ie yesterday. No reminder was received (and I have checked my junk mail) but a plethora of emails were received yesterday saying that my membership had lapsed and sorry to see me leave etc. I renewed instantly as I value the club. After renewal, and confirmatory email, I still received further emails saying my membership had lapsed etc. Something seems to have gone wrong with the system. One reminder ( or maybe two at different times), one to notify lapse of membership if not renewed ( not the 10 received) and none after renewal saying membership had lapsed would be more suitable and as experienced in previous years. Hopefully only a technical hiccup but you can’t fix it until someone tells you what’s gone wrong!

A big thank you to everyone who came along this morning. I know Gary, and his wife Ann were moved by everyone from the Westfield, Cobra and mini clubs being there and really appreciated it. The Motorist sectioned off part of the car park and 2 tables for us in the cafe.

Just poking my oar in here for anyone looking to get into Westfield ownership and dismissing this possibly as old-school, unsophisticated and slow........... Not perhaps the best time to sell weather wise, and I'm obviously blatantly biased because I've got a narrow x flow too, BUT...... In this spec, IMHO, in real world driving on the road, there's not a lot that will leave you too far behind if driven 'enthusiastically' shall we say, plus its probably got an engine soundtrack to die for.... Don't dismiss this too quickly guys....she looks a beaut! Mart.

Hello i am a new member in Barrow In Furness Cumbria, I've recently got in my head that I want a Westfield. I've been scouring the web and trying to gain info on the cars. My history in sports cars started off with Toyota Mr2 mk3 I've had plenty of them. In more recent times I've had a Porsche Cayman 987.1 S which is a fantastic car, I'm hoping to pick a Westfield up pretty sharpish which very well might mean to the Porsche selling. I Would really love to get a ride out in a car pretty local if anyone can point me in the right direction, I've a half decent idea of what I want on a car or where I want to car to get to. I'm not particularly frightened by anything mechanical, what i don't know ill find out I would also like to track the car I buy in the future. Think im looking for a widebody car, either with a zetec in it or a car i can swap 1 into. All help is welcomed. Regards Tom
