  2. This Sunday we are having a meeting at the Motorist for Gary Neal. Gary isn't a member, or a Westfield owner, he does have a very nice Cobra and is an integral part of the Yorkshire area non the less. He was unfortunately diagnosed with terminal cancer just before Christmas. It started with bowel and liver, and was told on Wednesday that it was now in his spine. I saw him on Wednesday and was told he had 2 weeks. Our normal breakfast meeting is on the 20th this month and Gary would normally be there so we are having an extra one this Sunday, 6th at the Motorist. I have reserved some parking space and a table in the cafe. I am hoping to get around 15-20 cars there at 10:30. There will be Westfields, Cobras and Minis. Gary is coming with me,but not in the Westfield. It is Gary who I hold responsible for getting me into this scene having taken me to the Le Mans Classic, Silverstone Classic and the Stoneleigh kit car show in 2012.

  3. I've got a soft bits hood which im trying to decide whether to keep or not, changed the jap bar to an msa so it doesnt fit anymore. Its the more expensive one with the 2 zips and screen channel and will come with the Jap bars was new at £315 and delivered to me around August last year, only used a few time so in an excellent condition. will come with the Jap bar, i think £260 is reasonable for collection If I recall it took 3 months for softbits to make and ship so save on time too

  8. I have acquired a number of new and used Keyspan USB to serial adapters which can be used to connect a laptop with only USB ports to the serial port on aftermarket ECUs. I have used these for a couple of applications and it is what I use to connect to the MegaJolt ECU in my car. 9. Hello All, The monthly Black Country meet is due to be held this Sunday, it’s probably not Westfield weather yet so I expect it’ll be tin tops all around. Hopefully see a few of you there. Thanks Rhett 7pm, 6th February at the Dudley Arms, Himley. DY3 4LB.

  11. Again, sorry to hear the news, but well done Robin for organising the event. Just shows how the club responds to even a non westy owner. 👍

  17. My eldest will be 17 in Oct and we're about to apply for her provisional licence in readiness (and it get's her a form of photo ID for cinema etc). I've just spied this on the DVLA website- After the tell me questions- Hence made me think most of them can't be done in an Aeroscreened Westie! Who's going to give it a try? My daughter's not getting to drive Bagpuss for a long while!

  18. There's been lots over the years swimming/horse/dog agility/competitive racket sports/mountain biking/climbing/via ferratta/moutaineering/walking/skiing and probably more to come, Although I've had an interest in sports/kit cars for almost as long There is ONE hobbie/addiction that has always been a massive part of my life, from mid 70's, and will be there until the final curtain. Over the years the upgrade path and 'running' costs have probably been more than the rest put together (including Westfield ownership) . . . . . . . . . . . . LISTENING TO MUSIC
