  4. I do miss Fred Dibnah, but to a point Guy is a good replacement, just the 1st of 6 videos in the series but a good watch all the same. Shame he packed in the bike racing though, he would have won a TT at some point.

  5. Thanks @OldStager My father worked the train 46443 also shown in this programme. We relived a photograph he had taken in his 20’s. When 75. Hence HB46443 is my membership and branding on the car. Special train with our family. HB

  7. Due to purchase of a different track car I have to reluctantly sell my covered trailer. The trailer has a tilting hydraulic bed plus a winch and is in excellent condition. There is also a spare wheel with it. It was new in 2012 and was stored indoors until 2 years ago. It has 5 new tyres fitted as I had a blowout on it on the way to snet on a track day. This resulted in a little bit of damage to the plastic wheel arch, I have a new one on order along with a door lock which will be replaced or given to the buyer. the price on this is a non negotiable price of £6500 for a wscc member before I put it on eBay.

  12. Hmmm - seems I may have priced "keenly"... Anyway - @RJRWesty was first in the queue and wants everything except the fan mount and number plate mount. Apologies to everyone else, but first come, first served is the only fair way to deal with it.

  14. I find this level of conversation useful and educational. Try reading similar posts on pistonheads which is now at the same level of abuse as Facebook (or twitter i assume as I dont do twitter) For every good view in a reasoned debate there are alternatives and opinions and many have merit. Even on here its not clear cut and this with todays knowledge vs what we knew at the start. No one soln to satisfy all. Keep it up please chaps its a better read than most.
