This was the day we brought her home, we had a LOT of wrenching to do. Took off the spoiler (cuz bleh), the headrest, and a lot of the stuff that had been added on. We put the original screen back on, moved some mirrors. Don't have a pic of the after since it was such a busy day! Currently the car is headed over to Fort Collins, CO for an engine rebuild so we can take it out this summer. Will post more pics as the time moves along!4 points

Hi all My front mats were looking very worn. I contacted Westfield who would only sell a complete carpet set, and the made to measure mats on eBay were for a different version and won't fit a car with an MT75 tunnel. But I found this company... https://www.carmats4u.com/custom-orders I simply sent them my old worn out mats and they sent me some new ones, including cut outs already made... Really pleased, no connection with the company, but sharing in case this is of interest.2 points

Ill try and remember to weigh them before they go on the car. (Didn’t weigh them before the tyres went on.)1 point

It did take an hour or more during the recent fuel shortages, yes 🙂. Even at commercial charge station prices (which will become more competitive) it's cheaper than petrol/diesel and typical charge times will reduce to below 30mins for most people1 point

No worries Adge, they’re 205/50 15’s all round, wheels are: Front, 7x15” ET0 Rear, 8x15” ET-81 point

Thanks. One of the reasons I went for the wide rear arches, when I did the tub change, was specifically so I could fit a more retro style deep dish rear, in a staggered front rear set up.1 point

As Ian says forced induction multiplyer of 1.4(nearly @IanD) which would put you in W2 if roadgoing or W4 if modified specialist production. Do you have a full cage because once added the 1.4 multiplyer puts you over 2.0L so you would need a cage as well. As a note to all I will again review the Beginners GUide and update, I dont think anything is out of place but we may have to provide some update to things like tyre as some have been moved again for 1B to 1C1 point

They’re “just” the JBW copies, so a great price, and 10% off in the Black Friday sale. But they’re not that bad for weight, (expected them to be awful). They’ve also balanced up, with the Uniroyals, way better, with far less weights, than the TD’s I’ve had with either Toyos or Nankings on. I always take that as a decent quality sign, though it can be the tyre, rather than the wheel.1 point

I'd like to propose is what I think is a simple solution - progressive (domestic) energy prices, progressive VAT on bills, and progressive green levies, the more you use the more you pay, on all three counts. This means that Sir Elton, premier league footballers, multi-millionaires in their mansions typically using 50 times as much energy as Fred in his Teesside terraced, might be pushed toward heating their indoor pools less often, might be pushed towards renewables, and can provide the chancellor with more resources to help Fred. It is a win - win isn't it?1 point

I am on a contract with Northern Energy which includes automated fill ups and a boiler service / repair contract. Plus I need fuel additive for the AGA. Thanks.1 point

I generally don’t go lock to lock with the wheels stationary on the ground. It certainly allows for a bit of static turn with no visible movement.1 point

It looks the same as mine (Rolson I think). it’s excellent for the money very comfortable and no issues with turning wheels or jacks. The major problem is expansion when the days get warmer, you need to leave a gap all round. My garage is reasonably sized and generally has heavy stuff like trailers and engine stands on it, so it can get wavy in the summer1 point
