Okay so even by my standards today was chilly but an epic day out, the roads were mostly fine ish, some had snow and ice and on the way home the lumsden / cabrach road had snow higher than the westy at the sides !! So as I was on my own I went out over the Lecht, corgarf and over to Ballater and to Aboyne then it was the old military road over the Cairn o mount to the the Clatterin Brig cafe for lunch. Suitably warmed and fed it was back over the hill toward Aboyne , Alford and home over the Cabrach Absolutely brilliant to be out and a cracking finale to the holidays16 points

Great idea for a video, would work well at Stoneleigh. I'm on 5 times, one with the father in law in the driving seat, but, @Gary Taylor must be the most prolific!3 points

Great idea. Fantastic effort too. It was fun looking out for our cars. 👍🏼3 points

I am surprised he only had one breakfast. I have seen him polish off two before now.2 points

Great to see you all again and I hope you managed to get a nice breakfast or lunch for the heavy lifting 😉 Over the next six months I'm still hoping to get our on one or two of the Peak runs so you might see me and either of the two vehicles at some point this year. Cheers ... and I'll let you know if I need another driver for the 911 🤣2 points

Nah, still another four months at least to go on the overland camper build, but the Westy did break out of the cover a couple of times - it appears 3-4 other times in the video!1 point

On the questions below the clip, they suggest 160/180mile range with the 44kWh battery1 point

Is it worth £27 to post on a forum, no not at at all. Is it worth £27 to be a Westfield member, maybe. i presume anybody who is lucky enough to own a Westfield doesn't mind. What's in it for me, nothing apart from a few wind up posts.1 point

Of course Dave, but I might have a rework too, as I know I can produce something more cinematic with time.1 point

PS, can we use it as one of the Stoneleigh background videos, please!1 point

Fantastic work, finally managed to watch it all the way through. Some photos in there (certainly of mine, others I’m sure, too) that only the owners will recognise! (And I love those sort of pictures).1 point

Si Thanks for the reply. Found this thread, funnily enough was looking at the same unbuilt project when it was eBay at the time, have kicked myself since for not buying it and also wondered what happened to it. So good it got built and so well. and the subsequent forum ad in 2020 for its sale: Cheers Mike1 point

if we ever get a youtube channel going , this needs to be posted as an example of what we get up to in a typical year.1 point

Thanks @OldStager It was not too long really. Had I spent time resizing, re-framing & adjusting the music. Different conversation. I wanted to share the same sentiment as you! Great reminder of last years story together! HB1 point
