That's made me laugh, I used "butt" instead of "A***", and then it censored Ca**ington! 😂3 points

Carsington, Carsington, Carsington! Fingers crossed that's sorted that bit of the language filter out! (it seemed to be responding to seeing the "ars" and "ing" in the one word, as if the letters were altogether, if you see what I mean. - just the way the word had been configured in the filter) It's annoyed me for ages every time I see it in a Peaky post, just not usually able to sort it out there and then, and of course I forget about it later. 🤦♂️ With all the bad weather we've had, I pulled the Honda apart (slightly) to do some of the finishing off jobs under the scuttle. So if the weather is looking ok tomorrow, I might take a run out in the Sigma - I need to do an oil change on it, (engine and gearbox), so a good opportunity to get them both warmed through.2 points

Hello, i just bought a Westfield TRZ from a guy that parked it for years. I plan to bring it on the track again. Its very hard to find informations about this car. I like to connect to other owners or anyone who can tell me more about the car. Greets from Hamburg / Germany2 points

Looks like we've got a few of us coming up from the south assuming they aren't hung over 😂 We are meeting at the entrance to Toons (DE11 9HQ) at about 845 if anyone wants to join the convoy 👍 Just spoken to Michael who runs Burton Car Club and they are aiming to get there about 11am. For those that want a lie in, they're meeting at 10am at the Cherry Tree pub (DE65 6DX).1 point

When you drive downhill over the speed bump and through the main entrance gates you will come to a T junction. Turn RIGHT here and park just there on the RIGHT. The car park is massive and that is the quietest place. I have an old friend coming with us who has bought a Westfield today, how exciting for him👍 Happy New Year @BillyPee and @ianali hope you have a good night. Carsington...just got to try it😄 see you all tomorrow xxx1 point

Our car is on the road. Had a good blast out in it today, was very mild. No chance of my surfacing tomorrow morning though, New Year’s Eve is very much a party night for us that involves way to much alcohol. Have a great run all and il wish you a very good new year. Cheers, Ian & Ali.1 point

Thanks for replies, I’m looking to spend ~£17.5k. Based in County Durham. Prefer more road oriented car with a few luxuries, hood and heater. Engine best for handling with sufficient power.1 point

Best thing for me was to set a budget and then make a list of "must haves" (I.e. Power, lsd, screen, heater, seat type, colour, etc). You never see 2 cars that are the same specification but with time and money, you can easily modify one to your requirements (hence why they're all different!). Where are you based? Depending on budget, Toybox always have a good selection to view and you can always get to a meeting to see some cars and narrow down your search1 point

If I can get my lazy butt out of bed in time, I might join you at Ca**ington 👍1 point

Welcome! Budget will play a big part in the decision - so how much do you want to spend? Prices will start at around £5k and go up to well over £25k1 point

Soooo as it was dry today it would have been rude not to head out again 😃 But things didn’t quite go to plan to start with, a misfire on leaving home was quickly traced to 1 plug being full of water !! So mopped up the water and pulled all the plugs, new set in and running sweet, a quick message to say I was on my way and off I went to Aboyne arriving 30 minutes late and no sign of William , I assumed I’d missed him , oh well in the cafe for a full breakfast, coffee and cake 😃 On coming out I hear a westy approaching with William and Liam who had been waiting at Alford before realising it was Aboyne we were meeting at 🤣 so back in the cafe while they had a bacon roll and coffee, then a spirited run across to Ballater over the hills to Corgarf, over the Lecht and Brig o Broon to Grantown for fuel then back up speyside to Home where I said bye to William and Liam as they headed back to Aberdeen. A cracking day out but only a couple of pics( to busy having fun )1 point

Hi All Sue and myself were going to come over in the tin top and say hello. Unfortunately my daughter has tested positive for covid and we don't want to risk meeting up with anyone, though we both had covid in November. So I have a great blast around the Peaks and a Happy New Year to you all.0 points
