  1. I had to speed it up to compress it enough to get off my phone. It’s also lost a lot of quality in the YouTube upload.

  2. Give us a wave next time. Makes for a better pic lol. Much more fun if your part of the convoy though.

  5. @Si.Dalziel that is a great video, it shows just how quiet the Peak District can be when you get off the beaten track, there was no traffic, only stopped for horses at 8.10 mins. My Eagle eye's picked up the Magpie Mine on the left at 2 mins, the first hairpin at 4.40 mins and the second one at 7.40 mins. Can't miss the big yellow sprinter, that was at Surprise View, Hathersage😃. Brill, let's get you mid pack, up Winnat's and down Mam Nick next time, that is one great machine you have there, thank you 😍

  6. Good to see your car got suitably christened in sludge @Si.Dalziel, welcome to the Peak District in winter, we will look forward to any video footage that you can share with us. Until then Glen was kind enough to remove his gloves whilst travelling and take some stills. What is this? a broken down Honda? thankfully no, just an insubordinate Joint AO that needed parking instruction. @Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO we also have nutcases wearing shorts in these freezing temperatures. With order restored we enjoyed the Gelato at Tagg Lane. I had Stracciatella and Kinder Bueno, 2 scoops to make up for missing out last week. 'Edley Elbows @HB46443 had Vanilla I think 😆, so he said anyway. On our route we found a couple of hairpins, this one and one with wet leaves on, why go forwards when you can go sideways hey @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO At times it was narrow and slow, coming to a stand still for the horses, I learnt that good tip from @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Secretary, some years ago when your Honda was new and noisy we found horses on this road and you were good enough to stop. Up over Abney and down Surprise View to Hathersage and The Bird Cafe for lunch. The Bird Cafe With Billy, Ian and Si already gone West we were on a misson to avoid the Christmas markets at both Chatsworth and Bakewell so the route home was across country through Bradwell and Tideswell to pick up the A515. Glynn and us off down the Via Gellia and Rob's Southern Express headed back towards Ashbourne. Having missed last week it felt really extra good to be out and about today, the sunshine added to the views and all the cars were so lovely, noisy, smelly and super fast. My foot flat to the floor and Rob's Honda engined car just gets bigger and bigger in my rear view mirror, my efforts were futile, fun but futile. Thanks for a great day out everyone. Next week we shall meet at Marks and Spencer Foodhall cafe, DE6 1DG in Ashbourne at 10am, hopefully on the Sunday, depending on what the weather Gods allow. Some photo's of the views for you

  9. It’s a very clever camera! It’s nice to know if anything does happen I will have it recorded. Long videos are not where it’s best suited. It’s the little snippets it catches that make it so good. I think someone needs new tyres as I didn’t see anyone else struggling to keep grip.

  15. A good day out, indeed. Sunshine, good company and mucky roads! Yes, Glen I put it in the garage like this to drop the oil and filter, whilst warm! It was washed afterwards! Honest! Lovely Autumn colours:

  16. Really enjoyed todays run, some awesome Peak District scenery and roads on the way there and back! Another big mug of warm tea needed when I got back though🥶 and a bucket of warm soapy water for the Westfield. Thank again Julie and Glen👌

  24. The reply was from a mew member on an old (random) thread. This behaviour is typically associated with someone “testing the water” prior to spamming the forum. Of course the new member may indeed be a westy owner from abroad with a keen interst in law, but my experience as an admin says otherwise and thus they will be on our watch list 😁
