  1. First ever track day last week (at Silverstone no less). Utterly brilliant and terrifying in equal measure!

  3. @Gail Jones - Shows & Events Coordinator I have some carbon headlight bowls which would go nicely with the indicators from Chris. I would accept a favourable offer to help ease the CurboroughKiss remodelling funds.

  5. @snowy892 @GaryD1971 Just about to get the car back from Tiger Racing. Timing belt + full service + checkover and a few bits sorted for a very reasonable amount. So thanks again for the recommendation. To be honest, it's been worth the club membership alone!

  6. I must say a massive thank you to @DamperMan for his assistance yet again. After he heard about our “Curborough kiss” he asked us to get all the dampers and springs sent to him so he could check them, something I didn’t think of. One damper was beyond repair and another had a bend in the shaft we had not noticed. We need two new ones which he discounted again for us. We chose to collect from Bicester as we where also collecting a nose cone from him. Tony also gave us a guided tour round the factory from start to finish, engineering at its best. Thank you

  7. Probably it was last trackday this season on last sunday... Two seasons and every one trackday finished with no isssues...exept one - snapped wishbone bracket, always somewhere on podium . Only disappointment is that I cant take this car on the roads , drive with sons etc. just for a trip.. but working on that Edit : and almost forgot - the "sequence of snapshots" If someone is considering a straight cut gearbox for road better hear this

  8. Hi Gail These are real carbon fibre by Carbon NV and include clear indicators orange bulbs and loom extensions. They work and where going to be my solution but they were deemed not IVA compliant so I got some on the nose from WF. They have been fitted but done less than 10miles so are not new but very good. Carbon NV is asking £60 for just the shell so would you be interested in having them for £50 free postage ? Chris ( yes the radiator bracket bloke)

  9. That's good to hear @Spacedoggy. I've been to a few of their open days and always found them to be really nice people. If I didn't have a Westie, they would be my first choice of other type of 7. 👍

  10. Anyone else seen the new series on Channel 4; "How to Build Britain". It was the Mini this week, and Caterham is coming up in the weeks ahead (not sure when). Quite an interesting programme, although a bit repetitive, and it will be interesting to see the factory building process for a CateringVan.

  13. Good morning all. My name is Ben, I'm completely new to the forum and to the ownership of a westfield although I've been patiently waiting for a while for the right toy to pop up. Well here she is! I've got a couple of little jobs to do before MOT time, then a few things I'd like to do like new bucket seats and I'd really like a full cage. Looking forward to playing 👍

  14. Just PM'ed you, Terry. We had our booster jab last Sunday, so feeling relaxed about engaging in close company. Just avoiding tongues at this stage, sticking to pecks on the cheek!😀
