  1. Good morning all. My name is Ben, I'm completely new to the forum and to the ownership of a westfield although I've been patiently waiting for a while for the right toy to pop up. Well here she is! I've got a couple of little jobs to do before MOT time, then a few things I'd like to do like new bucket seats and I'd really like a full cage. Looking forward to playing šŸ‘

  3. I am looking to meet up this weekend IF the weather is amenable, at The Tea Junction, Hulme End, SK17 0EZ, 10am. The plan is to have breakfast, go for a run out and finish with lunch/cake in a warm establishment. Stay posted as this will depend on the weather, I can move to Saturday but will try my best to keep it to Sunday.

  7. I had a quote from a local company before deciding I would do mine myself, the supplied and fitted quote was Ā£2800 for two doors. I bought the same quality of doors off https://rollerdooruk.online/ for Ā£1300 delivered for two doors. Go for larger and thicker slats if you do go roller door, mine are 75mm slats. First pic shows how you can go between the brick and the size of the door box šŸ‘ I'm 6ft3 and can walk into the garage with probably 1 inch to spare to the bottom of the roller door when it's open.

  8. Hi Rizfizz Iā€™m just about to pull my 4.1 open diff out and swap for a 3.6 Torsten 2 LSD on my mk 2.5 1.8vvt just waiting for seals and paint to tart it up! Be interesting to see how it feels after???

  11. Congrats, and best of luck with the build. Honestly, you'll only really notice the lack of power for the 3.6 diff at low revs. Once it's over 2k rpm, it's perfect for it, and gives you really nice gear ratios for some winding back roads! Also if you're talking about getting the rear uprights free from the drive shafts, there's no need. I just left mine fitted. For all the other disassembly, plusgas, a big breaker bar, and a set of 6 sided sockets (not 12 sided ones) are your friends. Also make sure you label every electrical connector you disconnect!
