  1. I have seen this chart used in the 'did not have a mandate' argument, the 18 million, if I understand correctly, includes about 14 million children. This is indicative of the disingenuous nature of the whole discussion, both sides! The same will be true in 5 years if we revisit, it will be difficult to separate out the impacts of the money we spend addressing climate change, the huge debts of coronavirus, Brexit, other factors in a changing world. In 5 years I may be able to say whether I feel better or worse off, Will I honestly be able to say it is because of one particular thing - No! Will I be able to present arguments attributing it to one thing - Of course I will. So the future is endless antagonism unless we say 'time to move on' Mostly, I think the sooner politicians on both sides move on, the better. At some point the EU said 'you can't cherry pick' but you know what, the cherries are there for both sides to pick, at this point they are rotting on the tree.

  2. Thanks guys. It was a fraught last few events as my engine blew up at Blyton in September with 6 rounds left. Whilst I had a spare engine I didnt have time to fit it before 4 of the last 6 rounds at Curborough 2 weeks later so withdrew and fitted it over that weekend in time for the last 2 rounds at Castle Combe this weekend. As it turned out, results went my way at Curborough and I need not have bothered but I cemented the championship with 2 more maximum points anyway. Its been a good season as I finished 8th in the British Sprint as well to cap it off. Big thanks to Troy at sponsors Northampton Motorsport for making a slot for me to have the spare engine mapped 2 days before the event and to @pete g for letting me drive his incredible Ecboost Mygale at Anglesey in between Blyton and Curborough. 3. 1990 SE Narrow 2.0 Zetec ENGINE & TRANSMISSION 2.0 litre Blacktop Zetec engine with Weber DCOE 40 carbs and MegaJolt ECU mated to a 4 speed gearbox. Retroford flywheel re-drilled for a pinto clutch. Westfield 4 into 1 exhaust manifold and 6 inch re-packable silencer. INTERIOR Basic bench seats but nice LUKE harnesses with aircraft style buckle, interior panels and carpets. Aluminium, engine-turned dash (which may be having a renaissance). EXTERIOR Black gelcoat which still looks pretty good for its age and polishes up well. Comes with tonneau cover, hood, wind deflectors and sidescreens. For sale after 17 years due to it not getting as used as much as it should. Would make an excellent first Westfield. Please bear in mind that it is a 31 year old car and is somewhat showing its age and evidence of the modifications made throughout its life. £6500

  6. And by the same definition, Remain had no mandate to remain, unless they spin it as the entire bloc of non voters would have voted remain. Thankfully, elections, here in the UK at least, are not often subject to "what if" for very long. Votes are counted, a result anounced and more often than not the vast majority of us consider that to be fair enough and most of us will accept defeat as graciously as we celebrate victory, with a metaphorical "well played" and a promise to do better next time. Anything else and we risk letting ourselves down quite badly.
