  3. Like Billy No-Mates Margaret and I set off at 8.30 this morning in the light rain for the 54mile journey. It was well worth the trip and great to see so many Westfields had made the effort in such dodgy conditions. The museum itself was like a flippin' ice box, It was much warmer in the Westy with the hood up, heated seat pads, and de-mister blowing hot all the way . I do like to be comfortable in my old age . A good line up of Westfields considering the weather. Checking in at Reception. Many thanks Julie for organising this

  4. What a great day we had. Thanks Julie for organising this and it was nice to meet you. Shame about the weather, but still managed to have a lovely drive back home, having to stop and take some photos on the A537 towards Macclesfield, what a cracking road that is. Thanks again and hoping we can meet with you for a run sometime in the new year. Nick.

  8. Very interesting chat with a chap who works for one of the big pharmaceutical companies supplying the covid vaccine. As neither of us voted for brexit it was effectively an impartial statement to say being out of the eu definately helped the uk vaccine situation.

  10. A great autumnal run out today around 150 ish miles . The roads were a bit damp and skittery in places but it didn’t rain of snow lol Headed out over the Cabrach and took the old military road over to Cairn o Mount then down to Rumblin’ Bridge cafe where a lovely lunch was had , chatting to them there is 2 car parks so a group is more than welcome (phone ahead if it’s a large group) Suitably fed n watered I was in a quandary as to which way to go , but a couple of bikers pulled in and said the low cloud was gone from the summit so baa as ck tracked oer the Cairn then along Glen Tanner stopping at Ballater for fuel before coming home via Glen Sheil, Corgarf, the Lecht and up the Glen
