  1. I have just updated the first post to say that this event will go ahead on SUNDAY as the weather forecast is dry. They have even forecast for it to warm up a little too, for anyone that has not yet acclimatised to the cooler temperatures. Look forward to seeing you all then🙂 salad not compulsory.

  5. Well hopefully we're all up for this, and the restaurants will be open... We will return this year to the superb Eastern Revive in Knutsford! So Thursday the 2nd December meet at approx 7.30 pm in the Rose and Crown, Knutsford, before strolling down to the meal, at the Eastern Revive, for 8.30 pm Who's up for it? Please note, my last chance to update the numbers at the Eastern Revive will be on the Monday, 29th November, after which we may not be able, this year, to add any extra seats. I've already paid our deposit, based on how many we have so far. Dave Ian Kinder Si Dalzeal Andy D BillyP David (CherryTreeFW) Mark Andy Jon Russ Paul F

  6. I compete in my car in all weather and I was also concerned about the fuse box being below the engine cover vents. I did two things that together have kept them dry and working perfectly even in a heavy rain - - first I made a rain gutter on the bulkhead right above the fuse boxes. I used a piece of 90° angle and double sticky taped it above the fuses so water running down the surface of the bulkhead will go into the gutter and off to the side of the fuses. - I also covered each of the two fuse boxes with close fitting plastic bag and put a heavy rubber band around the box to hold it in place. The two things together seem to do a good job of keeping water away from the boxes and if it gets there the plastic bag keeps things dry. dave
