@Curley well that is a disastrous start to your outings with us, it has rained all day today and sharp showers are forecast for tomorrow. Hopefully we can catch up with you the next weekend that you are available. We made it to Quackers today and virtually had the place to ourselves, unsurprisingly, to stop the cake going out of date we helped them eat it. I have to tell you this, we spoke for a good while to the owner of the cafe and she told us about her husband's accident, at one point she said 'when he had his head replaced' it's a funny story, if a sad one, that I will tell you all when we next see you. Update on Chris, he has prostate cancer and kidney problems. But he's doing ok, hoping to be discharged from hospital and looking forward to being home next week. Still has all his faculties, and his dry sense of humour. He's writing his next article for Westfield World from his hospital bed, can't wait to read that. John.

I am surprised you weren't in the Westfield, you could have justified double cake then 😄 It was definitely quiet out and about today.

Andy, I went for a 55mm roller door fitted under the lintel and at the front edge of the brick entry. Overall I lost nothing from the opening width and an inch or so off the height. I fitted them myself with the help of my son and did both in a day including drilling, fitting an external manual override and somfy edge switch/alarms. 55mm roller

Catching up on the last couple of weeks work. the extra stainless steel arrived so I was able to make the last of the fuel tank straps. I've also got most of the pedal box in and the brake lines plumbed in but I’m just waiting for a bias valve to fit the the rear circuit. the two missing gauges have now also been fitted to the new dash.

WOW WOW what on earth did I start. I am will always be proud of all old and new members. You may not know that I am seriously ill in hospital (terminal) and want to make the most of everything.I’ve had the most fantastic life being my own boss since 1965. Done all things I wanted to do from early days Curborough to Monaco in a GP car. Anything I can help with just shout cheers chris
