  2. We checked Lionels oil at about 330 it needed a litre or so, stuck some of the dregs of 5w30 in and it needed another half a litre so Grabbed the other bottle (10w40) and Simon glugged some in. we both commented how it looked a bit thin. I decided to double check the oil - it was used deep fat fryer oil complete with chip bits that I’d not labelled properly. Decided to call it end of day and not start the car!

  5. Great run up A84, Glencoe and a lap of Loch Leven before heading home. The road round Loch Leven is tremendous if you ever get the chance.

  7. Looking at the entry list, if it was blue, then it could be the Morgan/Amy Jenkins driven Pilbeam MP97. The chassis isn't F1 derived, its a hillclimb special, Pilbeam were the best you could get in British Hillclimb from the mid 1970s to the mid 1990s. And the 16v head swap is fairly common in the modified hillclimb mini world, uses a BMW K1000 head. They used to do this so they can retain the original A-Series block, allowing them to run in the modified production classes, instead of having to go into a more 'unlimited' class. However I think it has been changed in the blue book so the head and block have to be original to the production vehicle.

  9. Snapshot from video out and about today. Ignore the date error I just need to redo the settings. I'm going to try another position with the camera next time as the mirror blocks the view of the road ahead.

  20. 194 miles for me @Paul Hurdsfield. Some really good roads travelled and the pain of the M6 home. Even got to see some lesser cars cars at our cafe stop. Will hopefully get some decent stills off of the camera later when I can go through it.
