  1. Great day out with Dad. Building his confidence in his pinto engine. 130 miles later I think he’s happy to venture out a bit further now we have ironed out the little issues over the last year.

  6. Thank you all for the info so far - very encouraging to hear! Just to add: my father-in-law has a regular body Caterham (am I allowed to mention these on here?) and I don't fit into that one. But hunting down a widebody with lowered floors and top mounted pedalbox is the mission now... Plus if there's anyone with a Westie in Devon/Cornwall/Somerset - let's hear from you, please!

  12. The vehicle theme seems to have run out of gas seven days ago. How about songs with place-names in the title? There must be thousands of them.

  13. I think I'd give the edge to the pilot, definitely more difficult than turning a camera upside down🤣

  16. Welcome. I’m on the Somerset levels near Bridgwater, my car’s got lowered floors (wide body) plus removable steering wheel. Bear in my 250 has a taller (2”) windscreen. You would be welcome to try my car to see if you fit. Let me know if that would help, and we can arrange to meet. Exmoor has some great Westie roads as I’m sure you know!

  18. I’m just glad I could contribute to the WSCC stoneleigh weekend Although I didn’t think bread and gaffer tape would be in such demand!. Had a good laugh that weekend with all involved (just not as much as Rich Wrexham😂) can’t wait for next year. And let’s not forget Reuben and the worlds smallest amazing chair!

  22. Hi, I'm 6ft 5 and on my second wide body Westfield. My first with standard floors and without a quick release wheel was tight for knee room but just about driveable. The addition of a quick release brought the wheel closer freeing a bit of knee room. My latest car has lowered floors which makes a huge difference. I've got an aero screen too, as when I had a windscreen I felt I was always trying to see under the screen frame.

  23. Apparently Martin (The one who attended Stoneleigh) has never driven a Westfield as well !.. @GarethHD dobbed him in told me when he stumbled out of his van Sunday morning looking like Bamby trying to walk...there could be Witch craft going on here 😇

  24. Welcome to the "import your jeans from The Netherlands" club Anyway, some tips. If you can find a widebody with lowered floors, then that's the best option. If you can't, try to find one with a top mounted pedal box as it allows you to stretch your clutch leg underneath the pedal. Then invest in some floor mounted shell seats and bring the steering wheel a little closer to your body. I would happily show you around, but I'm in North Ampton, not Devon

  25. Sat on @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO driveway, just making sure he has not sold Bagpuss for spare or repairs. I can confirm that Bagpuss is safe and well, sat in the garage, waiting to pounce.😃

  27. Excellent day out again - marred only by that bl**** caravan that was down to as little as 15mph on the Cat & Fiddle.... 🤬 Anyway - the now customary drone shots, in order of the convoy
