Now look here chaps, this is getting rather out of hand. After feeding the 5,000 on Saturday evening because the farm cafe closed at 7pm, Martin cooked up supper from our breakfast supplies plus a tin of soup for poor Ritchie who wasn’t capable of eating solids, and a loaf of bread from Glynn’s caravan, I thought we all did rather well to consume the amount of alcohol we apparently did. There is no truth in the rumour circulating that Martin has gone on tour with his local orchestra to Bermuda having had his triangle confiscated at customs. It is however true that he is still able to surf the internet (not much call for surf in Bermuda) as he is still buying parts off the club site. Unless of course it’s a member posing as Martin Letts having hijacked his account. Although why anyone would want to do that escapes me. Hopefully Martin will be technologically restored after he’s recovers his triangle from Customs. A good way to celebrate the end of an era as we heard when packing up on Sunday that next year the show is moving to Newark. Thank you everyone who was there for a most enjoyable time.6 points

Stuart didn't make it so we hope you felt better eventually. Quackers, a great meeting place for Westfields. Luke and Gemma(below) joined us for a short while at Quackers. Gemma came in a tin top with their daughter Bryony while Luke came in his V8 Westfield, what a great Westfield Wife. Luke's showed us pics of his smart new toy, can I say? a shotgun....I said it wouldn't be knitting needles! In the absence of the cake meisters I had to hold the fort and YEEAAS I got the corner piece. You can't beat cake for breakfast. We wiggled along the flowing A6, enjoyed it's short section of dual carriageway, and took off up into the hills to the Goyt Valley for a bit of drone action. Thank you to Nigel for bringing it along and taking the time to share the footage with us, we are honoured. Bonnets Off at the Goyt Valley Next we did a route that I call 'the square root of Buxton' it's a twisty, scenic, cracking road that conveniently lands us at the Peak View Tea Rooms. As it overlooks the Cat and Fiddle road we got a running car show as we ate lunch. It even has steering wheel parking spaces😄 Soon we all took off in our different directions for home, my 4 car convoy eventually down to just Andrew and us until about a mile from home we got a sniff of ice cream and the inevitable happened, we turned left into the farm shop. Well it was a hot day and too nice to go home just yet. Adams Happy Hens, Holymoorside Cars down to the last 2 I have to agree with Dave, days like this are just plain good for the soul, the company particularly has been fantastic. Thank you everyone from one happy hen XXXX6 points

Apparently Martin (The one who attended Stoneleigh) has never driven a Westfield as well !.. @GarethHD dobbed him in told me when he stumbled out of his van Sunday morning looking like Bamby trying to walk...there could be Witch craft going on here 😇2 points

Martin was pruned from the club because he is an insidious, lecherous excuse, and shouldn't be a part of this great club. Also.......... What, just heard he is being re-instated? Oh THAT Martin, really nice guy, welcome back, apologies for the prune, yes that was me. Unintentional of course, but so easy. Luckily, we all have a sense of humour. Hopefully too.2 points

Hello! This is my first post, long time lurker! I bought my first Westfield on Monday. An SEIW super sport from MatV on this forum. I've really fallen for the car, I'm using it to commute to work this week! 80miles a day. Looking forward to posting more on the forum. It's a great car can't wait to put my stamp on it. I'm in Maidstone Kent, I looked for an area meet but only saw the joint Essex/North Kent one? Alex1 point

One day I will be there when you are doing the drone photography. I was thinking, if it had the follow me capability we could get some great driving action footage on the driveway up to Quackers car park if they let us go there after hours. Luke.1 point
