We all need a negative covid test within 3 days of departure from Santander and decided to do them today in Leon 20 miles south rather than in Santander on the day of departure. We took the fast route to Leon town centre which is a lovely city, we had to split up to find parking then were met by the road trip parking conundrum... trying to work out how the dreaded parking ticket machine works 😅 Anyway we sussed it and booked in for test with a 45 min wait so went for a butchers at the Cathedral And messing about a bit Me and Wayne were last in for the tests and had received graphic details of the process from the others, we walked in with our little WSCC knees trembling but tried to hide it as best we could from the rather good looking young female nurse who pulled out two swap sticks which looked longer than my blacktop Zetec dipstick 😳 Any I braved it first and said right nostril please and safe to say I’ve never had a pretty nurse make my eyes water like that before ! Waynes procedure also went without as much as a wimper (we agreed our story beforehand) No phone call in 30 minutes means your negative and can log in with code for certificate.. all good. Quick Burger King then we all went back to our cars except Terry two nostrils who couldn’t find his 🤣 Terry made his own way back to hotel, Wayne and Pandas went swimming and me and Nakki has a blatt to a local lake 😎4 points

Good evening My first post as a new member and owner. Based in Surbiton, Surrey. I’ve recently taken over the running of a 2004 SEiW as built by my father in Northern Ireland. He’s still going strong BTW, just has his eyes on another project, so I “bought” it off him and we road-tripped it to Surbiton at the start of July. Before he let it go, he made a few mods to the original 2004 spec. She is running an 1800 silver-top Zetec on Jenvey throttle bodies now with longer air horns, courtesy of SBD Motorsport and a Westfield carbon 6” de-cat silencer. When I got it over from NI, we had it mapped by Steve Greenald to 147 BHP. All this transformed the performance beyond recognition. I can’t recommend Steve at SBD and Steve Greenald highly enough. Over the winter I plan a suspension upgrade from the stock Westfield parts it was built with - I’ve already been in touch with Dennis at Siltech and he’s been a great help. Will also go down to 15” or 13” rims from the current 16” I have. But for now, I’m just enjoying punting around the Surrey hills, getting to know the car and avoiding cyclists! So, a question. Where and when is the nearest meet to Surbiton? Would be good to meet up with a crowd soon! Cheers Philip Some shots of the car:3 points

SOLD SOLD SOLD The time has come to sell my Westfield SEIW kit car, I built the car in 2003 from a starter kit using donor parts for an age-related plate (G reg). I originally built is using a C20XE red top with 45’s then changed to a C20LET for more power, a mate who’s an engineer helped me with the conversion and made the necessary custom parts to fit. I took it to AutoMark in Stokesley to get a remappable chip fitted and tuned, the car has been dyno’d at 260bhp. The head was ported and flowed by CAS Engineering in Northallerton, ARP bolts were fitted when fitting the lowered Westfield alloy sump. The gearbox is standard Ford Type 9 with Westfield bellhousing to fit the Vauxhall engine. The rear diff is a Sierra Cosworth LSD 3.6. The car has been garaged all it’s life, since having kids and building a house over the last 4 years I’ve barely used it. I’ve only covered 600-700 miles since 2014 and it’s currently 6749 miles since built. I spent nearly £3K in 2016 on new Compomotive 13” CXR’s with Toyo R888r’s, full roll cage and carbon Tillett seats. I have a huge folder of receipts from day one and loads of photo’s the build and it’s life. I'm looking for £12000 Mileage is 6749 MOT’d 22/05/21 The spec is as followed: Westfield SEiW 2003 Starter Kit Vauxhall C20LET Custom 4 core Pace Charge Cooler Pre Rad and Pump Westfield Radiator for 2.0 Vauxhall Ford Type 9 Gearbox Ford Sierra Cosworth LSD Diff 3.6 Custom made by JP Exhausts Front CAT Motorsport 4 pot callipers Rear Sierra callipers Westfield Alloy Front Uprights Westfield Anti-Roll Bars Front and Rear Full Playskool Motorsport Roll Cage Tillett Carbon B6 Seats with Playskool 4 point harnesses 13” Compomotive CXR wheels 7” wide ET18 with Toyo R888r’s Detachable rear arches with fiberglass carbon rear guards Westfield OHC V8 Shocks and Springs Playskool Motorsport suspension setup and corner weighted Odyssey racing battery mounted above the Diff Removable Sparco steering wheel Westfield flat vinyl dash Lots of other stuff so ask questions if you have any.1 point

I currently have an two track cars - an MX5 and a tuned Westfield. The MX5 is 90% of the fun at 10% of the cost. If it were me, I’d get an MX5 now and wait until you have a garage for the Westfield.1 point
