The glorious twelfth! Up on the moors behind our village and not a grouse in sight, but a lovely evening for a drive. Went over to Bakewell for a game of croquet with my dad and his friends, a cola at the Queen's and then a fantastic twilight drive over East Moor with a stop for photos on the way home.8 points

Today we all went into Navia a local coastal town for some breakfast after our hotel rabbit food version didn’t quite hit the mark. From there we all split up some venturing to other towns some blatting. Me and @nakkib blasted south inland to Grandas in some great twisties (top tip totally empty at siesta time !)3 points

Posted many pages ago, someone took the car when going for the jab, so In the drive warming up. Civic Centre car park, managed to squeeze in between all these 'fat' cars. Bit lucky on my judgement for the front plate - was 10mm away PHEW. So that's two jabs done and dusted, awaiting to see if we have to do round 3 ?.3 points

It gets worse, we (the 12 of us who participated in the calendar) were all given a massive poster (don't know why?) of ourselves along with the framed photo! It was for a good cause, that's the main thing!2 points

I can't imagine (my) life without music, and nowadays this modern age of YouTube allows me into an expansiveness that was nowhere near as achievable rifling through LPs in a record store, or as a teenager staying up for 11pm on a Sunday back in NZ to watch Radio With Pictures (incidently the inspiration for the creators of MTV). This wee thread has been so much fun!2 points

The Swan and Cygnet still aren't open for breakfast, so this Sunday I'll be going to the Motorist. Anyone want to join me for a bacon sarnie and a catch up? I'll be there for 10:30. It's now FREE and there's no need to book anymore.1 point

I currently have an two track cars - an MX5 and a tuned Westfield. The MX5 is 90% of the fun at 10% of the cost. If it were me, I’d get an MX5 now and wait until you have a garage for the Westfield.1 point

Thanks Gary. Apart from my wedding pic, this is the only other one I have from around the same time as our wedding (2004ish). It was when I was in the workshop and our Director (a female) persuaded us to do a calendar for Macmillan Cancer Research, so whilst it's not a Birthday pic I was in my birthday suit🙈 I'm still amazed how my modelling career never took off!!!🤣1 point

For me they go together, as perhaps I am one of the very few that has a stereo in the car, as much as I love the Xflow sound, it does get a tad droney on a run 😁1 point

Well some of us got there, just 6 days late! In our defence, it was raining last week 😂 We had a good turnout for a last minute meet (3 Westies, a MEV and an MNR) with a couple of the normal mishaps.... Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of Ben's MNR as he was upside down in the footwell fixing a smoking electrical problem! Luckily as things often fall off my car, I had the trusty WSCC tool wrap (thanks Glen and @Julie Hall - Joint Peak District AO).1 point

So i have s2000 narrow pedal area width in normal trainerers you end up braking with right foot and catching the throttle at same time with right outer foot a bit unnerving I did not want to go down the racing boot as my feet are only size 8 but broad and usally boots are narrow fit and tight on your feet and as said walking around after at a show or at coast in summer in shorts isent that flattering with racing boots not that i pose too old for that So i had sum decent old trainers and ground the inner and outer on both left and right trainers soles down with a grinder to make them narrow on insides for braking and now not throttle if that makes sence They work fine and you cannot really see wat i did so now have trainers thats comfy and narrow in right place to drive westy and look good in shorts not that i pose cos am too old as said This is a barnsley hack Cheep as chips1 point

Im sure Luke @Plays-Kool will be around soon to explain what is going on. We can't keep speculating. Luke is been allways bang on with the comunity, so, let's wait till he comes around. None of the comments I have seen in facebook make justice to the situation... but FB is FB. Lets be patient here. Don't forget that this company has allways been deeply tied to WSCC, so they deserve at least this.1 point
