I used to use a βv-wipeβ on bikes back in the day. Itβs like a wiper blade that you slip over the index finger of your gloved hand. Was quite a few years ago but maybe they are still around π€2 points

T minus 48 hours to kick off.. We have had a few WhatsApp calls to organise things, Covid requirements and restrictions have been the obvious things to keep an eye on, but all adults are double jabbed, kids are getting tested prior to departure, Spain is allowing us in so all is good.... .. apart from the first hotel TerryTemper has booked has ceased to exist and I've just twisted my knee, ouch First leg is UK, all meet at Knutsford services M6 blat down to Bath for an overnight spanner check then shoot down to Plymouth for the Sunday afternoon ferry to Santander π2 points

I knew i wanted to build one from the start. It was the journey and learning experience that I wanted most and I don't regret it. I would definitely go through the build process again if i get the chance. It really does depend on what you want to get out of it.1 point

what's really frightening is that I can read that, I knew that coming from Sheffield would come in useful one day Glen says he thought you were in prison for crimes against a Westfield with @Trevturtle we haven't seen you for so long, he was going to apply for a VO1 point

Went to the local estuary before, testing car stuff, so out with the ( rubbish) camera. Yeah I know the roof is up, but was raining the last time I took it out and couldn't be faffed for a 20 min test π, forgot it was school hols DOH. The photo doesn't do this view any favours at all, but nice over over to Knott End way .1 point

Im sure Luke @Plays-Kool will be around soon to explain what is going on. We can't keep speculating. Luke is been allways bang on with the comunity, so, let's wait till he comes around. None of the comments I have seen in facebook make justice to the situation... but FB is FB. Lets be patient here. Don't forget that this company has allways been deeply tied to WSCC, so they deserve at least this.1 point

Lack of screen is fine, the wind clears the visor. If its very wet, any tyres which have enough tread to clear standing water will be fine. If its just a bit wet, any road legal tyres (including track tyres) will be fine. Motorcycle suit as Chris says is a good shout!1 point

Just a quick post to say goodbye to fellow WSCC members... My pride and joy was written off a couple of weeks ago by a momentary lack in concentration resulting in my first accident is 43 years of driving. Markerstudy were superb in handling my claim and I was extremely happy (well: as happy as I could be within the circumstances) with the result. I've decided to step back from ownership for a few months to see how I feel. The temptation was to dive straight back in and buy another car - there were a couple worthy of a look - but there are a few other itches I'd like to scratch while I can. It's quite sobering to admit that the road ahead is much shorter than the one behind, but that's life for all of us, I'm certainly not complaining. So, I'm going to let my membership lapse in a few days time. Thanks for a wonderful seven years, the community here and camaraderie within the wider club will leave a big hole. I've enjoyed the banter on the forums and appreciated the technical help & support in times of need. I'll leave with the first and last photo's I took of my car, with >20,000 glorious miles, smiles and memories in between them. Drive safe, Craig.0 points

Just back from Ibiza, the form filling and testing evidence / window for travel etc is long winded, totally agree. You will have the same to do on the return leg, not so easy on a phone! Took me 4.5hours to do all that for my family of 5 Andy0 points
