Quite frankly my day was totally ruined and I'll be seeking financial compensation. π2 points

First vid from me. Early session, following @Michael Whitworth, still getting to grips with the recent changes to the circuit. I've not been to Blyton for I think, three years.. and I was struggling a bit. Is it me or is it getting more and more bumpy? It seems faster in some parts and slower in others.. Ended up fumbling for gears and going straight on at Ushers.2 points

Well being as weβre not leaving the country thereβs a few more cars to contend with on the roads! The M5 was busy southbound this afternoon and crawling northbound ( from Bridgewater onwards) but on the A361 my progress changed !! this guy slowed me down and then when we came to overtaking lanes and he did this to me he wasnβt hanging about though π for some reason other drivers kept out of his way π take care on the roads guys and gals thereβs lots of extra cars out there. Cheers Andy & Becky1 point

This probably needs to be answered by the show and events coordinator.. @Gail Jones (Shows & Events Coordinator) I suspect someone will be visiting the club Store prior to Stoneleigh this year. The cover could be posted..or collected from Stoneleigh. The covers were purchased a couple of years ago, so the price can be confirmed by the events team.1 point

I held a few cars up on my first stint in the xtr2, I was to busy concentrating on what I was doing in the car than looking in my mirrors.π1 point

Hardly a fag paper. even when going straight at chicanes you can't separate us. But we weren't racing. Its not a race track you know. That was a bit hairy, I really need to sort my ABS out.1 point

Not going this year, maybe next year. I would definitely recommend camping together, it's a great atmosphere, and the entertainment in the campsite bar can be just as good as the infield bands.1 point

Aye, it was a case of making a judgement call, (personally), what to do and what not to do, this year. Unfortunately as that one had to be an early decision, and significant financial commitment, compared to something like the Gold Cup at Oulton Park, like many others it was a no for this year. (Iβve sacked off all the camping/stopping over events that work best when thereβs a large group of you).1 point

It can be an absolutely fantastic event, even more so going with the WSCC and camping in the Westfield βvillageβ!1 point

Itβs not a race, mildly frustrating as it may be, does it really matter on the βclubβ track day?1 point

Last one from me. Battling with Becs. π Not sure who the first silver car was, but I think it was bike powered? ..then along came @Andy (Sycho) in the XTR2. ... I had to try didn't I. π and ending up with Andy's pal (and new member??) Matt in the red Megablade.1 point

Mart I will be leaving from Lymington, let me know what time you are leaving and we can meet on the way.1 point

It was great to eventually see the xtr2 actually being used in anger. Like Andrew says the noise is not like a normal bike sound. @Rush Motorsport be great to see you back out with us soon1 point

What a sound it it makes too! .. not the typical BEC girlie scream, more of a growl. π Have got some vid of me driving my puddin's off trying to keep up with it. π1 point

Also had a great afternoon eventually, sorry for the red flag in the morning didnβt even make one corner! But thanks to everyone one that helped me find a dodgy FIA switch & temporarily repair it. Had a great afternoon learning getting to grips with the new car until the last run where I think I was getting a bit of chain slip.1 point

Had a great time, thanks all. My Westfield was fine on the day, no issues thankfully as I was a bit paranoid about the drive back. Shame we were all so spread out. Big thanks to Tony for the burgers, coffee and use of a chair. I'd not expected it to be so hot. Great to push the Westfield for the first time. The levels of grip are incredible. I found the mix of tyre walls and cones made finding my braking turning in points quite difficult. It got better as I learnt the track. I definitely need a trailer if I want to do more.1 point

Yep, agree, good day was had. π the track was never busy, and there didn't appear to be any abnormally slow cars out spoiling the flow.. (cue a @Kingster joke from @Rush Motorsport π ) My only little gripe was the parking. Is it really necessary to leave half the paddock vacant for sprint competitors that dont need to be there before 5pm? There were folks parked up half a mile from the start line! .. well a long way.. As it happens there weren't many show up before 5. Couple of pics taken about 4-30pm.1 point

I had to see what BUSA used for cooling, SBD have upgrade kits it seems with leccy water pumps, no idea what you are currently using?. https://www.sbdmotorsport.co.uk/instruction_sheet/hayabusa-cooling-system-with-electric-water-pump/1 point

Morning session didn't happen for me....poorly car π A fellow member had a spare fuel injector seal (what are the chances of that!) Which got me back on track for the afternoon session. Great day and not that busy on track.1 point

Without wanting to drag the thread into the gutter, but you would have thought Mr Hancock would have been clever enough to realise there is such a thing as cctv these days Odds on him "deciding to move on" in the next few days?1 point
