  2. (SOLD) I have Reluctantly decided to sell my Westfield. With a change in circumstances I won’t be able to use it as much as I had panned to this year. so instead of it just sitting around in the garage, its time for a new owner to enjoy the summer. The entire car apart from a couple of bits (exhaust and sump guard) is completely as Westfield supplied it. All the parts they supplied where brand new including the sort after 2.0L Duratec engine, this allowed for the car to be registered as a new car on an 08 plate. The car is in amazing condition and is set up and ready just to be driven and enjoyed. Specs: · Sport 2000 SEIW. · FW style Body. · 200BHP 2.0L Duratec Engine with Webber throttle bodies (Professionally balanced at BD Engineering in April 2022.) · 3675 miles. · AP Racing 4 pot callipers with braded lines. · Braded clutch line. · Carbon fibre side exhaust and heat shield. (standard exhaust is available as well.) · Custom sump guard fitted. · 4 point harnesses. · Full wet weather gear. · Heater. · Heated front screen. · Just had a full service at 3675miles (oil and filter, coolant, brake and clutch fluid.) · New alternator fitted April 2022 with 2 year warranty. · New Lambda sensor fitted in April 2022. · MOT till march 2022 with no advisories. · 1 former keeper. It dose have a couple age related marks such as stone chips and one scratch on the rear wing (I have tried to photo it) they have never bothered me tbh, however I did consider some carbon stone protectors which would cover it all up nicely. The car wants for nothing and is ready to just be driven and enjoyed.

  3. I have already heard back from MSV who are happy to support the club. No discount for individual days, but as before 5+ people and we will get a discount. I am hopefull that we wont have to send money between ourselves anymore, for the first 5 drivers anyway and i will be able to set up a direct discount with my point of contact. They are also happy to support either a full exclusive track hire numbers permitting etc and a slightly more affordable westfield only session as part of a sessioned day. i know this does not appeal to all but would be a stepping stone to a full day. more updates as i get them coming back from TDO cheers Simon

  4. We've been seeing the same information as everyone else over the last couple of days; ie Face Book promises of dates that it will be on. The team are on it behind the scenes, but please be patient, we haven't had the information from the event organisers yet to even put a plan together ourselves. Once we actually do get official information for exhibitors etc, we then have to look at what can actually be done, and what actually should be done, so even if we get event details today, we've then got a lot to do, before we can actually say what's happening. ....And it all could still be cancelled/part cancelled/scaled back, if the delta variant situation keeps expanding, or another variant gives equal cause for concern.

  5. Fully agree with Simon, we had a superb weekend, well worth the trip up there. Like Simon I will be missing out on the event this year as we have other commitments in the diary. Do it if you can!

  6. Hi guys I’m based in Glasgow so probably not local for most, but I’ve got a red gazebo 6M x 3M that the club’s welcome to use anytime. It’s only been used a few times for promotional use by my first aid business, but it’s not branded. Only obvious issue is transport though.

  7. hello, its been over a month since i last posted something, but this thread means a lot to me so please forgive me in saying how i how have been getting on. as some will know not only do i suffer with poor mental health but my skin issues mean i can not do much at this point in time , typing this message is quite painful to do but i will continue. my mental health to be honest has been - this will be censored no doubt... ****. i have to say though, today brought some hope in that i eventually after many months got my long awaited call for the first vaccine jab, i am 55 and have been sitting on my phone awaiting the call - yes i know the online thing is of help to some folks, but i was unable to get to the nearest suggested place to be done, there are places closer to me but these were never offered via the online website. so tomorrow i am having my first jab of the vaccine, at my chosen location . i do hope this will improve my mental heath as this has been declining in the last few months, I have a few elderly relatives left alive that i wish to visit before its too late and i had refused to visit them until i am fully vaccinated, mainly to protect them rather than myself. i am trying to keep busy but my skin issues do prohibit this some what , i have done some stuff on the car when i can , and i will at some point post this , but its hard for me to work a camera with one hand, in that its hard to work my fingers to press the buttons on the darn thing... back to mental health. thank you simon for the last post i am glad that adams thread is not left dormant for too long, as its it such an important subject that those you who do not get all these posts and are fortunate enough to not have this problem should perhaps count yourselves extremely lucky. although i dont post much at the present time , i am able to work the mouse view posts, i have wanted to join in with a few of them but was unable , so sorry about that. as simon says - there is a gag there surely - i too hope all those who are not in the best of mental health are doing ok and i do fully intend to be back to full health as soon as is possible sorry for lack of capital letters where required but i cant work the left hand at the mo. take care all , speak soon richard

  11. I’d guess as per other threads on the same subject that there’s discussions going on behind the scenes. My gut feeling is it’s too short notice (and still a tad uncertain) to organise anything like our usual presence.

  18. https://www.gov.uk/request-information-from-dvla And it's for his own vehicle. I doubt there are any GDPR issues for a car where the information is requested by the registered keeper.

Who said the westy wasnae practical ….😂😂😂 A great day out took the long route to visit mum via the lecht, corgarf ( bacon roll cake n coffee) then down strathdon and kildrummy over Huntly and Aberchirder to Turriff I’ve kept missing Scott with his megabusa so he popped over from new Byth for a blether then it was in by to pick up some plants on the way home. 23. I know everyone had a great time at this event but just to let everyone know that we also raised £100 for the WSCC charities! Mostly from all the participants but additionally a substantial donation from two of our long standing Warks members, Dave and Val Preston. I've donated £50 to each, Make a Wish and the Air Ambulance, through the WSCC just giving pages. Thanks to all, Martyn

  28. Ill detail more over on my build thread once I've got it back together but it was developing a rather large thirst for oil, but with no real signs of where it was going. Time to swap in a new lump.
