Have a great day and some cake ππππ Wishing the 'Queen of cake' @Julie Hall - Peak District AO a very happy birthday. p.s. Happy 95th to Lizzy too. 50 may be seen as a peak to some, however I'm sure you'll carry on living life to the full for many more years! For those envious of your cake fuelled life, here's a sample of what's required to earn such portions: NB The above image hasn't been edited, yes Glen is in the driving seat! About to ride, the 'slower' Rita! You made my 50th a very special and memorable day, though I'm sure all will agree, you're more suited to dresses than me! From your 'Peaky family', we're immensely grateful to the time and effort you put into making our Peaky blats, such completely great days out. A clear measure of this is how far people travel to join in!11 points

Well the cake got demolished before it got photographed but it was very gooey and had a 50 on it. After visits from friends and family in the morning we went to the swimming pool at Matlock Bath followed by a visit to Ca**ington Water. Surprisingly all done in the MX5 because it needed a run and the Westfield is getting one tomorrow, that surprised me too. So after the last 8 days cycling/swimming in the Lake District we are going to Rutland Water cycling for 3 days next week. What a shame Rutland Water is a reservoir and you are not allowed to swim in it. It has been lovely to read your messages and thank you for thinking of me today.6 points

Great day out. Pembrey is a bit of a mission for most but about 2.5 hours for us Bristol lot. The track is really good it well worth a trip. Some pics let's go Team Bristol -1 (Chris) This was his track car. Colour in the sun was lovely I love a bit of jdm Best session I had was with this vx220 turbo. Had each other pegged for 10 minutes the only downer was a rather tricked out s2000 (first time out since build, I had spoken to him earlier in the day) had a big one right at the end. A fast 4th gear corner onto the straight and clipped the grass and spun into pit wall. It did not look like it would drive again but thankfully driver ok. βΉοΈ A reminder it can go wrong1 point

Just going through my eBay messages and this one stood out. From July 1st any eBay item sold and shipped to the EU will attract VAT which eBay will collect. Now that eBay don't "use" PayPal it'll be coming straight from our bank accounts when eBay collect their outstanding fees. Something to watch out for going forwards...0 points

Reminds me of a certain truck manufacturer that I am unable to name for legal reasons and based in the EU who used to manufacture them to an incomplete level, then export them to a UK dock, invoice their UK HQ, mark it paid, claim the VAT back immediately and ship the truck back to the EU 24 hours later to finish them off, thereby improving short-term cash flow substantially. Letβs just HMRC were unamused when it was rumbled and a few heads rolled.0 points
