  1. Bought from ToyBox last year with the plan to use it as a trackday car. I've only managed one trackday in it and I can't see me having time to do many more. Factory built Mega S2000 2500 miles Outstanding condition. MoT currently expired, but I will put a fresh one on for the new owner. The common fault on these of the ECU failing has been rectified. The ECU internals have been replaced by Omex with an entire new board with suppressed outputs to prevent this issue ever happening again. I swapped the diff for a Quaife ATB LSD as I found the original too aggressive on overrun. The original can come with the car though. I have only completed about 500 miles since I last serviced it last year, but I will include a factory Honda oil filter and 5 litres of Castrol Edge should want to do it. 4 brand new Toyo R888Rs fitted less than 50 miles ago. Original book pack and VIN plate from the donor car available. Donor had 60k miles on the engine. SEIW wide body, FW rear bodywork V8 bonnet, Sports stainless exhaust, Protech shocks gas adjustable and ride height adjustable, anti roll bars front and rear, full “Caged” roll Cage, battery cut off switch, Odyssey lightweight battery, fire extinguisher system, digital dash, removable sparco wheel, Lowered Floors, Cobra sports turbo seats, sparco 3” belts, LED lights, 8j Pro Race wheels, massive ARP four pot Calipers on front with vented discs and upgraded rears. £22500

  5. Hi All!! Picked up my 1996 1800 Zetec Westie today, know the last owner who's had it for 21 years. I have the mechanical knowledge of a 3 year old so will be picking your brains!! Car needs an MOT, only done 70 miles since the last in 2019, good full service and cam belt which is booked in for next Monday. Can't wait to get it on the road. Changed the battery today, that was a bl**** nightmare having to take the nosecone off and very limited room to move. Still nice to make a start!!

  12. Hi there! I'm Paul and I live in Newport South Wales. I'm in the process of buying a largely unstarted kit SE, dating approx 1988, so if correct, would be just after the Pre-Lit? I hope to pick up the chassis and bodywork this week, so I'll know more about it then! 😊 Regards, Manic

  15. I couldn’t believe how stable it was being so small - excellent bit of kit. I used to fly RC helicopters in the 80’s when they were pretty basic and although way bigger they were a right swine to control! I recall my brother asking for a go and I said £50. He asked why and I said that’s the cost of a new boom and blades when you crash it. Naaah he says, I’ll not crash. 30 seconds later he handed me the £50.

  20. i think this is a great idea. i dont mind taking up the roll(ratified offically of course in the right way) so that there is a club offical contact for TDO's. potential for a couple more club supported days through the year then ontop of the current blyton day. not precious though if someone else fancies to job. anyway Gazebo wise i think the current club one isnt a pop up or am i thinking of the big one we use at blyton normally. ideally 6x3 size would be suitable i supose could still be put back into the stores at Dels as i pass by most weeks at least once to the office so can get it to and from people. maybe worth a look at the quartermasters inventry first to see if there is something usable.

  21. Some more decaling done, but the Computervision decal on the near side rear wheel arch stuck solid before I had chance to get it in position.

  22. Carbon NV screen and new lifeline mirrors fitted. Required a lot of hole filling from previous screens. Scuttle needs a bit more sanding and polishing but nothing critical. Also fitted a carbon foam cored boot panel as the old one would warp in the sun. I've still to fit the center mirror but may not bother at all as it requires cutting the screen.

  24. I bought my Westfield quite cheaply in April 2018. Three years and two months later, I have just purchased a set of Goodridge Speed Bleed thingies to help bleed the notoriously difficult Sierra calipers when I fit the new rear brake lines. Nothing momentous in that, but it just so happens that the £50-odd that just I spent means that I've now spent more ON the car than I spent buying it in the first place. bl**** addictive, this Westfield tinkering lark....

  26. Before White Van Man wrote it off, I had a Astra H VXR with the LEH engine, all tuned up to 300bhp by Courtenay Sport with LSD, DAP Springs, D-Sport brakes, RARB, Toyo 888Rs etc. It was pretty quick, but on track evenings suffered from issues with the little plastic turbo pipes coming off and then the Turbo Actuator rod broke. That engine must be a real animal in a Westie!

  27. I use my roll cage to tie my westy down saved miss shaping warm tyres, handbrake on and I keep the car out of get as the rocking back and fore on the trailer shockes the gearbox
