Fantastic, hoping Iβll have time to give mine a quick clean before tonight. Managed to get it down off the ramps last night and the nose and bonnet back on, after itβs impromptu slave cylinder change, on the clutch!2 points

Hello all π Iβve just jumped into Westfield ownership with with an R1 engined Megablade. great fun until a water hard pipe rusted through. Doh! Iβd like to send the previous owner who built the car a message to ask about the part I require, but I canβt seem to send him a private message on here? Or anyone for that matter. could someone let me know how to do it? Hereβs the Westfield!:1 point

Thanks Gary, thatβs very helpful! Thanks. That does look the same. Interesting as thatβs a 2003 part and my engine is a 2007. might be a little harder to track down as it looks like theyβve discontinued it.1 point

A quick look finds this , is it the same ? Might narrow the search on what to ask for at a dealers/ bike breakers https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192257707843 failing that it may be easier and quicker to cut off the corroded part and get a new piece welded on1 point

Hi Chris. Firstly if you buy one, you won't regret it. Full kit really does mean it, you get everything except fluids, oil fuel ETC. It will come with an Omex ECU which will be fine for ITB's later on. Wide track is down to choice. makes the car look fatter at the front, avoids the wheels hitting the bodywork at full lock and is arguably better on track but it does cost a bit more. As for the Free wheel set up, Not sure. The buttons on the steering wheel probably won't pass IVA as the wheel needs to be padded. Most people have an IVA pass wheel and change to something 'nicer' later. You could wire it in but leave everything behind the dash until needed. Stu1 point

Thanks to Geoffrey and Morgan100 for your help with this I got the one suggested by Morgan100 from eBay for only Β£17.79 posted (100cm version) and it fits my folded hood perfectly!! It's wide enough that I don't risk breaking the plastic channel which is so fragile. Thanks again!!1 point

And coming up for two days later and the only side effect was feeling quite tired yesterday afternoon and my arm hurts, but only a little bit. So all in all, round two was definitely easier than round one and whilst round one was noticable, I wasn't reaching for the paracetamol or the nurofen. So all that's left is to hope I am one of the ~90% of people who have good protection going forwards.1 point

I have to confess I was zooming in to the photos to look at the turbo installation as I run a C20XE and if that ever goes bang I fancy giving a turbo a try while trying to keep a high reving engine. Mine is too noisy at the moment for use at some tracks and turbos are magnificent silencers. Also look for motor cycle fairing washers π1 point
